No one ever said that the weather is quiet in Iowa.  On August 2, 2001, a downburst raged through the northern side of town.  With winds of over 90 MPH clocked, it did quite a bit of damage to parts of town.  These are some of my digital pictures...

-- A brief look at how I felt about the jobs in a TV station when I first started working. 
--  My first winter in Sioux City, IA was one of the worst ever recorded for cold temps and snow..it .figures.
-- With the cold temperatures of one of the worst winters ever came some of the highest heating bills ever...fortunately, there was some relief...
-- A fun look at how Groundhog Day 2001 stacked up.  Turns out the winter, as bad as it was, ended rather quickly...
