Light swirls with dark,
The mirror shows all,
I see shadows coil,
In the smoke-mirror’s pall,
Weaving and dancing and,
Swirling through time,
The two partners dance,
I am yours, you are mine,
Like smoke on the mirror,
Like the moon on the sea,
They shimmer and sparkle,
And their spirit flies free,
Their dance can’t be stopped,
For they know that they,
Are meant for each other,
To dance forever this way,
A light shines between them,
Ever brighter it grows,
It ties them together,
And through the dark glows,
The light shines to heal them,
And make them complete,
Like the sun it lights,
The path at their feet,
Ever onwards they swirl,
Through smoke as the divine,
The two partners dance,
I am yours, you are mine.

Realization (of self, too late)
You left me all alone,
To face a world devoid of life,
You made a part of me your own,
And then you plunged me into strife
You were the first to take,
A part of my soul into you,
Now I ne’er shall have,
Faith in what loves’ power can do
We who love not much but,
When we do with all ourselves,
Always face that danger great,
Risk all, loose all and face
Our whole world rendered grey.

I came to you in the,
Souls dark night,
And you held close to me
As I pulled you up to the light,
I won you from the fire,
Of the knife’s embrace,
You filled me with desire,
By the beauty of your unseen face,
You rent the innocence,
From within me,
With your subtle dominance,
And tore all the trust I had in thee,
I had dwelling inside,
Yet despite it all I loved,
You with a power banefully true,
And as you plunged into the shadow,
I steeled myself and followed you
I chased down you throughout,
The darkest recesses of your self
And held you when you wounded lay,
At the edges of your mental health,
Now we lay entwined together,
Our passion spent into the night,
Abandoning this world forever,
Rend’ring crimson sheets once white.
