The Supernatural
Storm Spell

As the power descends,
My spell doth begin,
I draw the fury towards me,
Can barely hold it within,
I feel each jolt and,
Each mighty surge,
The raw thund’rous fury,
Wakes my primal urge,
Chaotic, potent air,
Weaves itself round,
Through light and through motion,
Through sight and through sound,
I feel the great spirits,
And connect with their power,
Dragons, sylphs and wind-drakes,
In my own witching hour.

Wood of Lost Souls

Over the hill in the brooding wood,
The lost souls lurk and wait,
Into the wood where the bael-fires dance,
The fallen gather to meet their fate,
And I wait amongst the polluted spirits
Drawn from the darkest of our age,
And see the tormented shades a-dance,
In the darkest woodland glade,
In their ethereal costume they revel,
With their screeching howls that chill my soul,
And Batrachian is their deathly visage,
With their eyes as dark as coal,

Over the hill in the brooding wood,
These shades accursed by fate,
To dance with in the maudlin glade,
Imprisoned by their hate
Even from afar one senses,
The rancour of their being,
And their rancid, polluted spirits are oddly fascinating,
Perhaps I’m meant to join with them,
But as I gaze into their eyes,
I think I understand this fact,
There but for the grace of you; go I.

Abyssal Contemplations

There is an abyss,
Just beyond the veil,
Of the physical sense,

And this abyss is,
opened by a question,
which is entropy’s demense,

It is a simple question
Just: “why anything?
Why not nothing?”

But o’er contemplation,
Of this destroys yourself,
And sucks up everything,

Into the vast entropic gulf,
The psychic chasm,
The meta-oceanic trough,

The hole behind reality
The black abyss,
The realm of astral wroth.

I

I was ancient when the stars were born
And will endure when they are gone
I have seen the Elder Gods and their spawn
and their battles lost and won
I have fed on the rotting corpses
of a thousand charnel worlds,
I have danced amongst riches,
Of a thousand entombed hoardes,
I have seen the silent abysses
of a darkness to eat all light
I have made a thousand wishes,
Wating for the stars to come aright,
I have crossed the vast unlighted aeons,
When I was all that was and was vile,
I am the vast cosmic raven,
That fed in the tombs by the Nile,
I am the vast antediluvian evil,
That exists in, between and beyond,
I am the great hunger indelible,
And will still be when you are gone.
