We are a very small kennel which, although started in 1995, has been doing little in the way of showing and breeding for the last three years.  The ambition behind  breeding our dogs at Wylanbriar has always been to, first and foremost, keep type and temperament typical whilst considering health, structure, and trainability.  I like to breed dogs that I can enjoy living with and know have a capacity to turn their paw to whatever their owners require, be that  in the show ring, out shooting, agility, obedience, or just doze the days away on the sofa. Since 1995 we have had some  wonderful show ring  wins at open and championship level, had some fantastic days out picking up and beating, tried our hand at running in working tests, and have also bred puppies that are purely companions.  We have a small handful of Wylanbriar bred dogs in Europe and North America, but also a mile down the road - all are treasured equally. We are now only in our third generation, but look forward to the future with hope and undying love for the breed.
