This is my dad, Olin! Receiving his 25th service award from Mountain Fuel Gas and Supply

June11,1905-July3.1960

He loved to fish!

I remember him in waterproof boots and water proof pants standing in a deep Wyoming creek with his line in the water all set to catch our dinner!

He usually did catch enough to feed his hungry brood!

Ahh!! You wonder why the Bulldog! Well dad always drove a Mack Truck, and they had a shiny crome bulldog as the hood ornament!

Dad kept his so nice and shiny. I think that is why I came to love my Sir Winston, so much. Dad always wanted one. I now know why! He's one hunk of a bulldog!

Dad was quite a hunter. He had to be

Living so far from civilization we were not always able to "buy food"

as we were snowed in 6 months out of the year.

It was Hiawattha, Colo., a camp for oilfield workers.

Us kids loved it there!

My dad died in 1960 on July 3 in Rock Spring, Wyo.

I was living with my family in Kansas City, Mo. at the time. It took us 28 hrs to drive there. My husband slept for 18 hrs after we got home!

Dad, I love and miss you very much. You never got to see our 3 kids. You always wanted a boy.

I have 2

I think you would be proud of them! I know we will all meet again someday.
