Encourage your child to arrive on time with the appropriate uniform and equipment
(Gi pants and top, or a Grandmaster Han's T-shirt, belt, fighting gear, and mouth piece).
Full uniform is required at all testing, tournaments, and special events.
Karate T-shirts should only be worn during the summer months.
Children may be picked up directly in front of the school.  They will be instructed to wait in the Do-Jang until you arrive.  Pick up your child promptly when class is over.  If someone different will be picking up your child, please let us know.
Your child will need association patches before he/she can test for the first belt.
Please help your child keep his/her uniform clean and neat. Gi pants should be hemmed to the proper length.  Pants that are too long or rolled up are a safety hazard.
Do not allow your child to play at home in his/her uniform.
Parents are encouraged to watch their children train.  Please refrain from talking and making comments during class.  Students should learn to look straight ahead and focus on the instructor, not the audience.
There will be a $30.00 fee on all returned checks.
Testing fees must be paid in full, and testing forms must be completed by the Thursday before each testing date.
Please sign up for testing early.
Remember to constantly encourage your child to do his/her best in class and in life.  Children learn much more from encouragement than discouragement.  Encourage your child to "Never Give Up".
Martial Arts Training is an activity that can be beneficial in all areas of life.  If you exprerience trouble with your child, feel free to talk to the instructor.  We sincerely care about our students in and out of class.
