K-OS is one of 2002's breakthrough artists. K-OS [Choas] stands for knowledge of self. His real name is Kevin Brereton. Brereton is currently one of Canada's biggest urban stars. His debut  album  "Exit" is filled with songs that includes the hit single "Heaven Only Knows." K-OS got inspertion for his music from Micheal Jackson, A Tribe Called Quest, The Beatles, and more. K-OS was apart of the Rascalz and Barrington Levy's hit "Top Of The World." K-OS even appears on the Racalz latest album "Reloaded." Kardinal Offishall, Solitaire and others make appearences on the album as well. "Heaven Only Knows" was the first single off of "Exit." The song was highly popular and picked up heavy rotation on Muchmusic and radio. The video was even nominated for MuchVIBE Best rap video at the Muchmusic Video Awards 2002 but didn't win.. K-OS' second single "Superstarr PT.0" was a more rap influenced with pop elements. It is also more or an old school rap song. The video has breakdancers, and more in it. The song wasn't as big but still got rotation. In January 2003 "Exit" was released in the U.S. "Superstar PT.0" debuted on MTV's Hop-Hop week. The video picked up heavy MTV rotation and became Handpicked on MTV. "Exit" was selling more and K-OS had hit it in the U.S. The song was even choosen for MTV's Advance Warning 2. Rooney, Damone, Jin, Spymob, and more.
