Zsnes

Version .991
Download

This SNES emulator is coded in 100% assembler by zsKnight, _Demo_ and Pharos. This emulator is very fast and is intended to be used in DOS. It supports many mappers, and runs a great amount of games. It supports all 7 video modes, all sound channels, transparancies (Vesa 1.2 or 2.0), and a great GUI so you may customize Zsnes to what you want it to be. This is the ultimate emulator for the SNES console. Excellent job Zsnes team; keep up the good work!

Snes9x

Version 1.29
Download

This SNES emulator is coded in C++ by Gary Henderson and Jerremy Koot. This emulator is available in many ports, but the version I have for you to download is of the Windows9x port. This emulator is also quite fast, supports a good amount of mappers, all sound channels, transpariances (Vesa 1.2 or 2.0), and a number of options for you to choose from. This emulator stands second to Zsnes, yet this is the only excellent SNES emulator available for Windows9x. Great job Snes9x team; keep up the fine job!

Nesticle

Version x.xx
Download

This NES emulator is coded in 100% assembly by Sardu from Bloodlust Software. This is by far the greatest NES emulator out there for DOS and probably will stand at number one for a long time. It features a nice GUI, all five sound channels, support for a great variety of mappers, and an exceptional amount of options. This probably is the final product from Sardu, for shortly after making this version of Nesticle, he left Bloodlust Software. Best of luck to you Sardu!

Nesten

Version .6 Beta Final
Download

This NES emulator is coded in 100% delphi by TNSe. This emulator is truly a masterpiece for Windows9x. It stands way above all of the other competitive NES Windows9x emulators. It features an awesome GUI, all five sound channels (and VRC6), support for a load of mappers, and has tons of options. I think the author's hardwork really paid off with this emulator. Excellent job TNSe; hope to see more of your work!
