| The first and foremost thing I have to do is thank a good ol X owner known as Imkirby34 on most of the boards. R/C X's could not and still cannot be found North of the border. At the beginning, they were next to impossible to find State side as well. Along comes this little email, basically saying I have one if you want it, just send me your address. First thing that came to mind was some type of scam... something too good to be true usually is. I remember seeing another member with the same name... email address matched.. so I replied and sure enough, I got the package in the mail. I was totally floored to say the least, he wanted nothing in return.. the real spirit of a X owner. Not one to leave this spirit of good will unreturned, I picked up a similar R/C..unfortuneately Ford and Dodge are the only ones here, and donated it to the Local Children's Hospital under ImKirby's name. A crazy note.. Kirby lives in California..and I'm on the East coast.. this little X has travelled more than my own. |
