Mutant Powers: Grail has the power to generate and control dark energy. It seems to be able to take on both a tangible and intangible form. It can blackout a room, it can cover an individual, it can be fired like an energy blast, and many other things. Another aspect of Grail’s powers is transformation. With extended use of his powers he transforms into a beast resembling a demon. In this form he retains his original powers plus increased strength and flight, but Grail loses all control in this form and will attack everyone around him friend and foe alike. After a period of time he will return to human form completely drained of energy. Background: Grail was abandoned as a child by his parents upon learning he was a mutant. He was left to die in a dark city alley, and surely would have had not some other mutants happened upon him. They took him to the Morlock tunnels and it was here he was raised. He learned to use his powers under the guidance of the Morlocks, but one day while using his powers he experienced his first transformation. The demon form went into a rage and attacked several of the other mutants injuring them. After much deliberation the Morlocks cast him out of the tunnels to never return. On his way out he was stopped by one of his friends. He told Grail about another place where mutants lived together and learned to use their powers. Grail sought out this place with hopes they could help him take control of his dark powers before he could do more harm. |
