OOC: Alternate timeline. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Persona Information ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Persona Name: Racheal Bat-Seraph Nickname(s): The Hunted, Sabratooth, and Dire Cat Code name: None yet, will probably take the name Bastet Sex: Female Age: 29 Birthplace: Jerusalem, Israel Eye color: Yellow Hair color: Silver (Dyed Brown) Height: 6' 1" Weight/Build: 180 lbs. Physically fit beyond belief she has the figure of a supermodel. Complexion: A tan complexion like that of her mother Jewelry/weapons(optional): wrist-launchers project razor edged spines Background: Born to Sabra in Israel 11 months after the Operation Zero Tolerance program came to a halt. Her mother quit the Mossad long enough to raise her daughter. She taught her daughter everything she could. Foreign languages, martial arts, and various weapons training. Growing up Sabra made sure she knew who her father was. She made sure that Rachael understood that her father, Hanin Howelett, didn't know about her because she hadn't told him. And wasn't really sure how to break the news to him and how he'd take it. Racheal grew up knowing that she was a mutant. As both of her parents were mutants. But the question, ultimately, was when would her powers show and what would her powers be. Racheal often dreamed of having supernatural strength, speed, a hyper-keen healing ability, and reflexes like her father and mother. Or telepathy and telekinesis like the man named Cable who her mother told her was thought to be a criminal but actually wasn't. Or have optic blasts like Cyclops. But when her powers did surface it wasn't what or when she expected. When she was 16 she and her boyfriend (who was a known mutant) were attacked by some members of Friends of Humanity. Her boyfriend had been shot in the stomach and was slowly bleeding to death as they beat on him with bats, boots, and fists. When they felt he had had enough and was going to die they turned on her. It was then that her abilities kicked in. The very shadows of the men who attacked her and her boyfriend peeled themselves up off the very ground itself and attacked the people that they belonged too. Soon all the men were dead or dying. And it was then that the police showed up with her mother who had reported her missing since she hadn't come home on time as she was oft to do. The police figured out what happened from eyewitnesses and let her go under care of her mother. It was then that her mother had her tested for the X-factor gene. They weren't surprised to find that she was positive for the gene. After graduating she went to College for a Major in Japanese and a Major in Genetics, minoring in Spanish and Philosophy from a student at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She decided it was time to find her father and meet him. Her mother pulled strings from her end in the Mossad who she had rejoined after her daughter turned 14 and was able to find out that Hanin had retired from SHIELD and was currently an instructor at the Xavier Institute. Which Sabra knew was the home of the X-men, not telling her daughter any of this they both loaded up on a plane to New York so they could head up to the Xavier Institute where Racheal wanted to become an Instructor and teach students self defense and foreign languages. Rachel was when she was kidnapped by agents of the Weapon X Program which had never actually been shut down when Logan went AWOL. They took her into custody and smuggled her out to Canada where they began using her X-Factor gene to experiment with. She was there for a long time. But like her mother and her father before her she had a good head on her shoulders and found a way to escape her cell and attempt to escape. She was hiding from some guards in a room with a whole bunch of equipment that she didn't understand but she did know to leave it alone. But she wasn't given the luxury nor the time to consider it when the guards decided to search the base room by room. When they found her they attempted to subdue her but she wasn't going to go without a fight. In the ensuing Chaos she was sent flying into some equipment which turned on somehow and in the brief moments before it exploded, taking most of the base with it, she was sent through a rift in time to the Harbor on Manhattan Island. In a moment of sheer panic she used her powers to push people away when she realized where she was. Hailing a cab she huddled in the back seat of the cab all the way to the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters. It is here that she begins her current story. Personality: Not one to trust anyone lightly. Her life has been turned upside down on any number of occasions because of what she believes was her trusting in someone. Known mutant powers: Shadowmancy: Racheal's X-factor gene has given her the ability to control shadows. Giving them physcial substance and mass. She has used shadows to create tentacles to attack her foes, to defend her and her friends, as well as use them for unorthodox travel (IE Up the side of a building). She can also see in pitch black dark as if it were broad daylight. If she concentrates hard enough she can teleport herself and up to her own body weight in mass from one shadow to another, but this drains her bodily and mentally. As such she tries to not do it unless her life is in danger. Miscellaneous Skills: Racheal is fluent in English, Arabic, Spanish, and Japanese. She knows enough to catch the basics of what a person is saying in French. Hebrew is her native language. She is also a third degree black belt in Aikido, a brown belt in Ninjitsu, and of an unknown rank in Tai Chi (roughly a black belt if that's even a rank.) as she studied under numerous teachers all of whom did not believe a belt was worth anything more than for holding your pants up. |
