Silverian Dreams
It was a strange day indeed, I had been walking home that day, after exploring my home town once again, I had always  liked walks, not normally would enjoy them alone though. I was your typical young woman with problems, overweight, arthritic,  oftened cursed about feeling like an old woman at my age, but this day her life about change..everything was.

She walked quietly down the street, somewhere before the highway and small streets of home, the sun was going down  leaving a wonderful red sky to color the town. when her reality suddenly shifted, She felt unease as she quickly became  dizzy, tired, her vsion blurring. As she watched time seem to speed up.  the red sky within seconed turning black as night.  starts wanding over the sky as fast as the cars passing me,  and quickly, I blacked out, collapsing to the cement sidewalk.

When I awoke, I found everything was different. The streets were made of stone slates. There were more buildings then  before, both old stone you would see on a church or museum and new, cluttering the town. the streets were smaller save for  the highway, which seemed to be the only place cars could travel. Even my old school was now a building of glass and white  stone, instead of the red brick I was used to. The area around it field of grass, trees, much like a nice park, The river  down near my home, which lied to the back of town, cutting a smaller portion of town in half, had swollen, taking out the  lower streets and homes, leaving a muddy thick mess on the main side, totaled on the other. Half buildings all flashed in my  mind, all misty, from a rain. I shook her head slowly, finding my self still rather dizzy for the moment, then rose to my  feet, shivering from my rain soaked body.

Surprised to see teens, that late at night, squealing in laughter, couldent help but to stare a moment, curious and confused  yet about what had happened to me. Two of the teens  silenced as they spotted me, staring as they ran by. I could only  blink, watching them in return as I rubbed the side of her head gently, then giving in. I started once more, slowly making  my way towards home. hoping it was still there.
When I finally reached the small dead end street, things had very changed, two men, and another woman now lived in my  grandmothers old home, the inside was done up new..very new and almost maze like for such a small, two story place.  I  coughed a bit as I headed inside, not really wishing to surprise anyone, but.. to my surprise I was greeted, the girl leaping  over the living room couch ran to me, there was a bright smile apon her face as she grabed my hand and shook it quickly  "Aimee! Finally!! welcome home" ^-^

She knew me! with that a sudden feeling of welcome. being home came over me, as though.. I were regaining lost  memories..something I had forgotten. The new memories started to become known to me,the people the place. I giggled  softly nodding to the Her "Robin.. how is the child bearing?" I grinned remembering that one time, she was carrying around  a tekno Doll, almost real, a teaching tool for girls. Robin blinked, glancing towards the living room, and chuckled "well.. that  old dolls still here,,but" she smiled brightly then " I have my own little boy to take care of now" I blinked in surprise then   giggled softly nodding "keeping him away from Draven and Smokey I hope. " she blinked "Can't keep him away from them,  they love him too" she squealed ,and both of us headed for the living room, she gave a wave to the two boys and smiled.  within moments of being spotted, both leaped up and ran at me, grabbing me up in there arms and hugging me tightly, I was  all to happy to return it.

"Raven, some thing has changed..I'm lost." I sighed a bit, It was True. I still dident know where I was before this, and  Still had the memories of my other home, seculded in woods, spending most my time on a computer.
I sighed softly, tossing my head back a bit in thought as, long dark strands of hair were brushed back, He was thinking a  moment of what I said, but i realized I could think of it later. I leaped at him, pouncing him yelped to his strength as he  stood there grabbing me up into his arms. "you haven't though!..your still a vampire!" he blinked then nodded slowly. "yup" he  grinned, baring those lovely white fangs that came back to my memories. I giggled and hugged him, he blinked a little to my  words and canted his head a bit, could tell he was a bit curious "you disappeared a few years ago. We thought you would  never return... where have you been?!" He sighed softly as i stared at him and frowned "i don't know really. A place where  you and smokey's races don't exist save for in stories and myths" He nodded. wouldn't question further seeing I was tired.  from the mirror I could see  I looked pale, and felt weak. up till then, I was human, but with my memories so messed up, I  headed off to bed, dreams of my other life, my other memories, of being ill, having an online boyfriend, I wondered if he  existed here as well, if he were waiting for me.. if he missed me.. suddenly feeling lonely and missing him, I slowly drifted  off into a deep sleep.

School, went on as it would usually, classes, students, but in the stone and glass school, I felt good there, always have.  and for once, my friend was there waiting for me in class. Charlene, but till noon, she seemed to have avoided me, form the  look on her face when she looked at me, it was as if she was unsure about something. She sat in class quietly watching the  students gather around two boys that stood in the back grinning, speaking of the awaking day that had passed a year ago.  they showed off there fangs to the new unbelieving students and chuckled softly, Humans, Vampires, getting along in the  same school, same town. nothing hidden. I smiled brightly to this change. and nuzzled my cheek down into my forearms as I  watched.

By noon Charlene had finally decided  approached me, asking where I was, what had happened, then smiling brightly, as I  hugged her for once while she spoke "I'm glad your back. everyone missed you" she smiled and sighed gently. still, looking a  bit neverous, after school they headed into the park grounds of the school, walking past the fountain, Charlene finally gave  in and questioned, spoke "stop Aimee " I blinked a bit stopping as told and facing her "whats wrong? " Char smirked softly  "rumors have been going about on you. That you changed,.. your new. " I nodded some. Ahh, yes, that was it,  I  remembered some more, "maybe.. I don't know where I've been.. new memories of a place without vampires, werewolves,,  where there just stories, myths, like other creatures." I canted my head slightly, Charlene smirked softly "then you missed  out on a lot here. Humans found out about the vampires one year ago, but a treaty was made, they get along and the  vampires survive on blood banks humans voulenteer for.  the were wolves still go on there own, many humans don't know  there here yet, and, they still speak of other creatures, and endangered ones that had disappeared long ago. rumors that  one had reappeared. You. the most of werewolves are not to happy, be carefue, please aimee? i dont want to lose another  friend  " I blinked, dident know she thought of me that closely a friend. it made me smile. I nodded a bit to her, tho  blinking as I realized a bit more about my self, the night I blacked out..  "so thats... I'll be ok char" Charlene blinked a bit  as I shivered and keeled over a moment, moving to rest a hand apon my shoulder in concern. but. the sun was lowering, in  the midest of all the fog and mist,, it was a red sunset, a beautiful one which made the town glow from the fog,

I chuckled softly and sighed glancing to charlene "so, what am I? what do you see?" Charlene shook her head a little and  smirked "Oo..my god, haha! No wonder the werewolf puppies dont like you. " she started to say morel,, but her gaze fell  around us, a small crowd had developed around us, werewolves,, all of them looked human but had fur, tails...claws  "go on!  get home Aimee fast" I gasped a bit as Charlene grabbed my shoulder and started to run towards the paths, streets.   Somewhere Charlene had broken off from me, I had to send her off towards her own home, felt it was safer for her not to  be around me. then headed for my own
Pausing at the edge of the park, I had to arched back as a sudden rush of new energy ran over me, I howled, a smooth  perfect howl,  taking in a deep breath of the night air and smiled, feeling more wild, more.. exhilerated.

I took off then, running down the streets, leaping past playful werewolves that had fought one another, a poor human  amongst them tossed about like a doll,, they only paused to watch me . I felt them staring. staring before playing with  there toy again. Soon I made it to the street of my home, only to sense some were following me, I simply stoped, glancing  to them and grinned  "mm.. don't like me huh?" a smirk came across my lips, listening as they growled and bolted towards  me, with my new found agility I easily leap up, over them and run off the other way, This time towards the destroyed  buildings, sand and mud. I laughed softly as I ran to one of the buildings and waited, I wanted to play, toy with these  puppies.. see what I could do. After a short time of luring them, just letting them get close then bolting away, I left them  in one of the old buildings, growling, snarling in hatred as they searched inside for me, all the while, I simply headed home  to think. Inside my home a care worker was checking on robins child, home life because of the living situation. Draven  was on his  computer playing a game with smokey online from another room. The sounds of Robin singing to her child and video game music  muffed in the backround is what I feel asleep to.
Again.. I missed him.

I had got into a fight on one night of my playful wild runs, exploring more of the city. I was amused at how different it  was from my other reailty, felt like a tourist comming to see the sites and archatecture, I loved it. I ran through the  streets, rooftops. passing or dodging any trouble I came across with the anyone that thoughught me of a monster as they  had once the vampires. I didn't care, I felt great.
The night came where that had finally halted, a young pack of werewolves and boys had surrounded an area, waiting  for me. They had expected me.. Three had come to the chase of my run, following getting close. Till finally I fell into there  trap, they had got smart about me, I slipped when i realized it, shocked. Falling after seeing them all around, I fell in the  center of the road blinking, staring up at them as i sat back on the pavement. within moments a cloaked man stepped out,  with his long blond hair, wild blue eyes that were cold as the stared, one hand resting apon a blond rough go-t, he looked to  be in his 30's. smirking softly as he fixed cowboy his hat upon his head. then a  glint of a gun, hand held came into view  from under his trench coat. That scared me.  like a trapped animal, naturally I panicked, leaping from my feet towards  them, not away. there was no way out so I went the only way left I could, to them, attacking till I herd a Bang.  loud  enough to wake me from my dream...

There was a change in the air over the next few weeks in town, rumors of the new creature running more wild, frenzied.  untamed. You could hear it growl from nearby streets, howl, this time anything that came in its path was attacked, human,  vampire, werewolf alike, none could walk away unharmed from its path. From It's howl, you could tell it was Enjoying it.  enjoying the thrill of flesh tearing, the screams, as it just ran through some unlucky enough to be standing in the streets,  leaving them trembling on the stone pavement. Only, to near sunrise it silenced the howls from the streets.  The creature  to hid from the sunlight and the nights hiding places.
As this went on, the Wolves howling, Vampires whispers of the people visiting the town, mostly of the usual visitors or  family visiting the town. even one.. a rareity..a hunter. Words of another blond haired man, entering with a long trench  coat, riffle to his side and dark blue eyes. Called by who knows in the town to help with the new cre and the Blood paths it  left behind.

Shaun sighed softly  as he wandered down the streets, nodding to some, only stopping when he reached the old corner  store, greeted there by a werewolf elder, wounded one eye, with his broken arm tied up agasint his stomach, he spoke to.  asking questions and stating, he came answering the call for help. The were wolf backed up a bit from the site of the  hunter, and nodding sagely "young female, tail.. youll know when you see it"  just then a group of younger ones came  forward, playing a game of tag. a small girl, giggling away as she dareingly touched the hunter, shaun. Squealing as she ran  off with the others "cant catch me!!!" He blinked and grined softly, he always loved children how carefree they were, who  was he to deniy a childs playful game.  Turning he ran after the child. Leaping along the side of the wall, kicking from it to  leap over another and land with a thud, crouching and taping a one of the little girls friends,"Tag!" he chuckled and grinned,   nodding to one eye.

Shaun as stubborn as he was, grined, searching the streets, listening to the rumors as he wanders through the streets  near morning, it had been a few days and he was getting frustrated. But soon, he would get what he was looking for, he  easily found and followed a blood path left behind from so called monster.  It had killed this time. leaving a human male  scattered in pieces in the street along with his wolf half's's fur, it littered the streets, leaving the soft fur to blow softly  along the dry street.

Quietly he walked, follwing the bloody claw marks on the ground towards the sandy edges of the city, the Rubble,  standing in the half dry mud of the rives edge, crouched down as he waited, watched as two women wander through the  muck. carrying two bags  that was easily smelled of chicken, fries. "why would they..." he blinked a bit, the blood path lead  him to the river, the two women, acting strangely, he followed them to one of the buildings, blinking a bit as he drew near  hearing the soft growls from inside, watching as the two girls simply left the bags outside the door at then ran off quickly  back towards the streets.
Once they were out of his site, he moved up to the building, gently taking up the bags and glancing inside one to make sure,  simply fast food. chicken, fries rolls. even a bottle of fresh water, small carton of milk. he raised a brow lightly, glancing  the way the women ran, then to the door, they dident keep there secret to well.. he smirked, slowly standing. he brushed  back his cloak and started inside.

Inside was a worn room,  the wall was cracked and dropping peices of muddy stone, the mud had filled the floor of the  room, making it dusty in places where it was dry, to the back of the room it got wetter deeper, more hidden form the door  and sun outside. the floor was slanted so as the mud grew a little deeper, it grew smaller towards the back of the room.
Old couches peeking from the dirt, boxes. a table on its side half way in the mud and a figure, moving behind it, dark  eyes, stared intently towards him, the figure crouching behind the table more, growling softly. he blinked a bit, kneeling,  holding out his hand gently as he stared watching it, she hissed softly backing away more, crouching as he neared, and  hissing, snarling as it quickly leaped up and Threw an old empty bottle at him, wacking him alsmot upside the head, if it  werent for his arms blocking its path. then crouching as though she would attacked as any cornered animal would. one hand  reached for his riffle then. weather to fire or set down,, didn't really know, for at that moment he was ambushed by the  two women, both tackling him from behind and grabbing his legs, dragging him out fast as he growled "what the fuck!?!"
He was dragged quickly through the dusty sand away from the building, one of the girls turned, facing him, glaring as she  drug him back as he squrmed "let me go woman!" she hissed at him, then simply both them droped him. smirking softly "Thats  our property, next time well report you!" as if they really owned the place. he snorted and stood glaring at them "The  creatures in there, and im here to do my Job" Char smirked, crossing her arms lightly "in there your not"  she glanced  towards the building and chuckled, the figure seen running out, along side of the building, grabbing a bag as it ran off around  it and another, lost from his view. he snorted softly, and growled. but as he turned, Char and robin had already walked off.  He had lost his pray... this time.

A few nights later. the moon was large and bright over the city, and this time Shaun would get more proof that the  creature was the killer. This time he waited watching with a group of humans, werewolves even a vampire, small group,  standing about the street chatting, play fighting.  The howls of the wild creature were herd again this night, not to far off.  they watched, waited. they herd her running down the ally towards them, though they didn't have the chance to move as  she came around the corner, not slowing down. running straight at them, as though she would just run through, her arms  moved out. snapping out long claws as she snarled. one of the wolves leaping at her, tackling, pinning her to the stone road,  only, to have her claws pierce through his  stomach, he stumbled to the side as she stood, hissing softly, crouched then  leaping forward, her claws raising slicing the vampires chest, the humans arm and she simply,, ran, past them, as though it  was nothing. the moan stood fast, blinking from the site of the were on the ground, his stomach gouged open, grossly  dropping upon the ground.,  he herd her running and turned, chasing after, watching as she ran down the street towards a  sharp turn in the street, towards a building, he grinned softly  as he drew his riffle Aimed.. then blinked, sliding to a stop  near the end as she leaped, jumping upon the side of the building, then the other, back and forth quickly till she was on the  roof of the three story building.  moving slow then,, she stopped there on  the roof. walking slowly to the peek,, the edge  and crouched there on her knees. sitting on her ankles with her one hand on her lap. unmoving as she stared up at the mood  quietly a moment, her slender form perfectly still. her hair in its messy ponytail flowing softly behind her from the breeze.

He stepped forward then, blinking as he watched, keeping his riffle in aim as he watched her, his steps.. she snapped her  head to the side staring down at him, eyes glowing softly from the reflection of the moon upon them, glistening softly though  an eerie stare, fast,,sharply staring at him. "got it" he fired, his shot echoed through the narrow streets.. All he saw  next was her jerking backwards, and stumbling off the other side of the roof, even could hear the dull thud of her body hit  down against the stone walk on the other side.

He quickly ran, fear of a miss or wounded raging animal on the lose, he ran around the building, finding the creature laying  there on its stomach, her legs out along the ground slightly with her tail limp against the stone, blood pooling beneath her,  beside her.  her whole body shivering, shaking as she groaned and slowly lifted her head, glancing up to him as he  approached, staring into the barrel of his riffle as he took aim again, her eyes calmly raised, glancing to his face with her  own, pale, muddy yet glistening dark hazel, large eyes. they were clear, glistening softly, and still the moon shone in them  brightly ,,staring as one hand reached out, shakily towards him, staring up at him as he aimed, and simply whispering  "Shaun.." she collapsed then, the so called monster, creature laid there before him limp. blood pooling around her a bit more  as he blinked from the name that she whispered to him, and then, spotting an old mark running along the back of her head,  along side it, an old Deep bullet graze which hadn't fully healed, what had healed, didn't heal properly. he lowered the  riffle slowly in confusion. then growled "how..did it.. "  Moving to pick her up over his shoulder and head off.

The next night,  I awoke, my eyes were blurry, but i found my self in dimly lit room, could tell it wasn't dirty, or like a  normal room. Blurred lights lined the ceiling like rows of glowing dots to my eyes. blurry,..dream like, I was dizzy. could  hardly remain sitting up as I sat there on a cushioned bed in the center of the room. It was simply, a thick mat upon the  floor, with a pillow, blankets. same as I had seen in Animas's.  there was a table before me. and that was it to the room,  smooth walls, a single door and the scent of antiseptic tickling my nose.  I found my head bandaged, wrapped lightly along  with my stomach, sides all wrapped snugly in bandages. Confused, lost, wounded I growled softly. groaned as I moved to the  corner of the room and curled up there quietly waiting.

Soon he came walking down the well lit hall, still wearing that same trench coat. thoughts of why he didn't kill her the  night before, how did she know his name. he paused, pondering this outside the room door, standing there quietly as he  peered past the small frame before him, to her she simply saw a full solid door, to him, a section was cleared, like a two  way mirror. Blinking a bit as he saw the mat tossed over against a wall, the table upturned, near the corner on its side,  with the creature hiding behind it, curled up there, staring towards the door...
