Shadows Of Fortune Magazine Top Ten Denver Shadowrunners
Number 3 - Shikaze
Shikaze is experienced, powerful, cunning and able.  Infact, the only real drawback he has is his seeming disregard for life.  Rumours abound of his skill as a swordsman, believing he is also an adept.  However, there are just as many rumours abound about Shikaze using his sword somewhat excessively, and while a good runner can kill, a better runner knows when not to kill.  It's this motto that leaves Shikaze only in the three spot as underworld figures and corporations alike chalk up the man as someone who's done them a lot of damage, limiting his employment oppurtunities and perhaps also his effectiveness as a runner.
Number 2 - Goldfinger, Anti Corporate Freelancer
Goldfinger really does outshine many in Denver, but even still, he's a terrorist.  Rumoured to be escaped from Central America, Goldfinger is one of the more dangerous anti-Aztech/Atzlan terrorists out there, but he also is quite a capable runner.  Working for numerous people in numerous situations, his breadth of career and ability to perform in many different roles makes Goldfinger a real contender for the number one spot.  Showing his ability especially in one particular extraction, where he escaped from an Ares Firewatch team in a subway with the mark intact, the resourceful Goldfinger however may have limited his future career prospects with the deaths of a number of those Ares personell.  Being unemployable by both Aztech and Ares may damage his chances at the number 1 spot as he becomes more experienced and well known on the Denver shadowcircuit, but we here at SOF certainly hope not.
Numero Uno, Denver's Best :
                 Ronnie 'The Knife' MacHeath
It's unsure if Ronnie MacHeath was born under this name, or if he simply changed his name to suit, but he comes with his own vintage (read, over 100 year old) theme song.  Mack The Knife, his more common name on the streets, is Denver's premiere runner, and for good reason.  Unlike all those previous in this article, Mack has been on the scene for a relative eternity..guessed to be around 40 years old, this elf clearly has a few more years left in him yet.  From his not so humble beginnings as a Mafia family enforcer before Sicillians finally gave up San Francisco, Ronnie has grown into a truly masterful street samurai.

Such touches of the master can be seen in some of his more recent work, one such example is the handled the extraction of a Yamataseu Magical Theorest under heavy guard in Los Angeles.  Not only did he get the unwilling doctor out without a scratch, but he single handedly incapacitated all 7 of the doctor's security detail, leaving them unconscious but alive to report back to their superiors.  We at SOF hope that causing such embarassment to a major corporation like Yamatseu wont make Ronnie's profile less employable in the near future, but we may not see him in the Number 1 spot for much longer.  Keep an eye out for his book, "Mack the Knife - The Ins and Outs"
Experienced with all manner of tasks, Shikaze is still prominent in the shadow community of the Treaty City, and his involvement in extra cirricular activies outside of the runner circles ensures Shikaze will be influential for time to come.  A little less blood and a little more finesse, and Shikaze could take the premiere spot.
