Lunch at Betty's Tea Room.  Enjoyed Swiss Alpine Macaroni and "Good Luck" green tea.  The front window displays at Betty's are amazing....they truly make your mouth water.   The front part of the store is a patesserie and tea shop while the back of the building (as well as basement) is a restaurant.  Betty's is very famous in the UK...in fact it is often mentioned in modern day British novels.  Picked up some Imperial Gunpowder Green Tea for dad.  Supposedly it consists of tea leaves rolled into tiny balls, like shot gun ammo, which bursts open and releases a tiny flower when you pour hot water over it.  Should be interesting....
Betty's Tea Room - Harrogate, England    North Yorkshire
Walked through the Valley Gardens.  It's situated just on the outskirts of the main shopping area in Harrogate.  The entrance to the gardens is directly across the street from the Pump Rooms which supplied the sulphur water for the Royal Turkish baths.  I can't imagine anyone bathing in that water let alone drinking it for their health.  Blech!
