My gosh, apparently many Americans don't care that the Presidency was 'given' to someone who has a past with cocaine AND was arrested for drunk driving! Go figure.. |

Former VP Gore looked a little peaked during the ceremony don't you think? One cannot blame him! I promise, I'll be a good American and stop Bush Bashing now that it's set in stone. | 27 February 2001 - I'm sorry again, I just can't resist this one... last week our President said this while speaking at an elementary school: "You teach a child to read and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test." Sigh... the irony of it all! OK...let's give Clinton some bashing! I am really getting annoyed with Mr. Clinton!!! He is so smart and intelligent on one hand - but SO STUPID on the other!! Hello Bill?! Where are your brains and what were you thinking and do you REALLY think we are going to believe you NOW? NOT! Sigh... and I used to support you. Shame on you! Shame on you! You manage to make Mr. Bush look good! BOO! You really don't behave like someone concerned about their legacy. The sleaze factor will always overshadow the positive things you did. Shameful! What a disappointment...your legacy COULD have been great. |
| 8 March 2001 - Once again, the news is FULL of school shootings. Some reporter was questioning who should be responsible for this kids behavior. Schools? The community? Local law enforcement? DUH! How about the PARENTS??!! Imagine that?! I wonder if parents were socked with zillion dollar lawsuits and LONG term jail sentences, (along with their out of control kid,) do you suppose slacker American parents would pay more attention to their kids and raise them better? Do ya think?! In my opinion, if you bring a kid in this world, then by golly YOU are responsible for that kid NO MATTER WHAT until he/she is 18 years old and if he/she shoots and kills, then YOU as the parent of that kid should suffer the consequences along with him. These shootings are a result of broken homes, neglected kids due to their parents inattention...geez! WAKE UP AMERICAN PARENTS!! THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN IN JAPAN!! Let's start putting kids first people! Stop your selfish ways adults,AND PAY ATTENTION to what's going on with your kids! I can't believe the ignorance and stupidity going on - it's a sad situation in the states...I'm afraid to bring my children back to their home country. It's a pity. |
