Ororo Munroe
Graduate degree: Masters in Meteorology (Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters)
Ororo Munroe is currently on the faculty at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Due to her extensive travels after college, Ms. Munroe has been qualified to teach a number of different courses, ranging from World History to Meteorology. Ms. Munroe is the caretaker of the Xavier grounds and greenhouse and supervises a number of incoming students until they determine their research interests.
Research in the Munroe Group
The Munroe group is currently studying a number of weather-related phenomena by developing an ultra-sensitive barometer. The Munroe group is also interesting in the survival of "extremophiles," microorganisms that can survive under conditions of extreme temperature and pressure.
Undergraduate Assistant: Robert Drake
     Mr. Drake is assisting with the extremophile studies.
Graduate Student: Michelle Sparks
     Ms. Sparks is currently researching the generation of electrical currents through different media.
