Charles Xavier

Graduate degrees: Doctorates in Genetics (Oxford University), Biophysics (Cambridge University), and Psychology (Harvard University) Post-Doctorate Research: Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters

Professor Xavier founded Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in 1976 with the intention of creating an learning environment free from discrimination. In addition to his administrative duties, Professor Xavier actively teaches a number of classes and runs a small research group.

Research in the Xavier Group     The Xavier group is currently researching a number of interdisciplinary issues. The Xavier Group is working on developing an ultra-sensitive electroencephalograph in conjunction with the Grey group. The Xavier group is also studying a number of recent applications in genetics including gene therapy and genetic engineering.
