My thoughts on......... |
Personal fitness training is not an exact science, there are as many varietys of people as there are people, which is to say , people are different, there's no blanket policy when it comes to training, what works for one client may not work for another, so its very important for me to get as mutch information about a client as I possibly can, now there are certain biological and physical facts that are true about the average person, but because of the differences unique to each person, the experience I have gained over the years has become an invaluable asset when it comes to client accessment, nutritional suggestions, program content, structure and the type of exercises done, weather its resistance training or cardiovascular training, information about you the client is key to your program development and successfully reaching your physical goals. IT's a sad fact thet americans are fater than ever, the average amerian is 20 to 30 pounds overwieght, I ask myself how does a thing like this happen? To find the answer all you have to do is look at late night television to see what's going on, unfortunatly, in this age of information, there is also misinformation, americans are not only fat, we're confused, what's the right way to eat, what should you eat, when should you eat, what's good fat, what's bad fat, how can you tell the difference, if thats not bad enough or confussion enough, you have the late night ads trying to sell you all these machines that will "whip" you into shape, ab doer, tony little's gazell, bowflex, thigh master, and then there's the genius who came up with that wierd ab shocking machine, stop the madness! What ever happened to that screaming bald lady, Susan powter? The madness doesn't stop there, the government created thiere own brand of insanity, the food perimid, not only do people not understand it, if you did understand it, you would know thier crazy, who ever "they " are would have you eating the same serving and foods that farmers faten thier live stock with . Fitness isn't hard, whats hard is knowing whats true and whats not, getting into shape dosn't take hours out of your day or require major life style changes, it's the small changes over time that will guarantee a successfull journy to fitness. I'm a fitness professional, it has been my job for the last seven years to teach my clients how easy and fun getting into shape can be when aproached in the right way, I teach my clients what fitness really is, it shouldn't hurt or become a chore, fitness training should be a labor of love, not a dreaded event. work in progress, forgive my errors. |
