   Assess good and bad consequences at the same time
      Reduce alternatives by reacting negatively to previously punished outcomes

Collective traps: pursuit of individual interest results in negative consequences for the collective
   Prisoner's dilemma
Collective countertrap: avoidance of personal discomfort results in negative consequences for the collective

Pseudocertainty: adopt particular hurdle as a psychological status quo even if not certain to reach it
   People prefer options that give the impression of eliminating risks rather than those that merely reduce risks
