Chapter 5: Sensation and Perception

Two main theories of color perception:
     Trichromatic theory: we have 3 types of cones that are maximally responsive to certain wavelengths that correspond roughly to blue, green, and red.
     Opponent-process theory: we have 3 kinds of receptors in our visual cortex: a red/green module, a yellow/blue module, and a black/white module.
