I hope you'll check out my "Interesting People" link and see just how fascinating the people we know, and the people they know, and the people they know, etc., can be. I like to think of it as a chain letter of admiration.
As far as myself, I'm a 30-something newspaper reporter living in California. I've spent my entire career thus far reporting for daily papers and count myself lucky for being able to write about things I enjoy, work with people I like and constantly satisfy my own curiosity. It is a changing field. It will look different in coming years, and, yes, some people worry about that. Me, I'm more excited about the potential for how it will evolve.
As for this site, I'm not sure just yet how it will evolve, but eventually I hope to get a link up here for feedback. When that's in place, I hope you'll share ideas or maybe even some of your own interesting people so others can get to know them as well.
