This is a former purple Baby Ember with pink hair, but her mane and tail were cut all off. So I took pity on the poor thing. I couldn't bear to see her with an awful buzz cut, so I gave her a new stylin' mane and tail of irridescent glass beads. They look like tiny braids. |

Next is a couple of McDonald's My Little Ponies. Ivy and Sundance, and Baby Pegasus from Hercules :) After a shortage of unicorn tree ornaments for the year 1999, I decided to make my own out of my favorite toy. I took a small bottle of the clear irridescent fabric paint and used the tip of the bottle to spread a thick layer of paint all over the body. The paint is white while it's wet, so paint until you can't see the body color underneath. Let dry. Then I found some small bows from a Christmas sale and glued those on them so they look like ornaments. After everything is dry, then get some nickle or brass screw eyes that are small, but not too small you can't screw them in by hand. Find a point on the pony to screw in the eye so that it hangs right on the tree. Thread with ribbon, and you have a tree ornament! |
