A Vision Of True Love

He hugged her as tight as he could hopeing never to lose her.
She did the same. But the wind started to blow and slowly Kegome lifted off
of the ground and began to dirft away. Inuyasha tried to stop her but something
had prevented him from it.
"NOOOO!!!" He Yelled, but it was too late. Kegome was gone.
He then awakened.
"It was a dream!" Inuyasha said to himself as he woke up in sweat.

He looked around. Sango and Miroku lay there sound asleep, but
where was Kegome???
"I better not wake Sango and Miroku" he said to himself. Inuyahsa slowly stepped
outside to find Kegome. He went around looking finally at a lake he saw her sitting
by the edge. How beatutiful he thought she looked.
"Now that we're alone I might get the chance to tell her" he thought.
As he Kegome approched he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulders. With a jump he
turned around and there was Sango.
"WHAT THE HE..."? Inuyasha was cut off by Sango's hush.
"SHHH!" She said. "you might disturb Kegome."
"What?" Inuyasha said with a confused look.
"Kegome told me to meet her at the lake when I wake up so we can relax." Sango explained.
"What are you doing here?" She asked him
"What...uh me? I..I was just taking a walk. T..Thats all." Inuyasha stammered.
"Ok well I will join Kegome now. Enjoy your walk" Sango turned and walked toward Kegome.
"DAMN IT!!! I MISSED MY CHANCE TO TELL KEGOME!!!"
Inuyasha found a tree and jumped on a branch to wait for the girls to leave the lake.
As he sat there he heard the girls talking.
"So when do you plan on telling Inuyasha?" sango asked Kegome
"I dont know maybe sometime when we're alone." Kegome answered.
"What about you? When do you tell Miroku?"
"Im not sure either." Sango said.
"*GASP* "The girls are hiding something... but what?"
*sigh* "I like to sit he...." Kegome stopped by the sound of a crash!!
She and Sango both turned around to see Inuyasha in a hole.
They both got up and sayed "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???"
Getting out of the hole Inuyasha said "I was sleeping."
"But what about your walk?" Sango asked.
"what walk?" Kegome asked
"oh he was behind you and..."Sango explained
"She has no idea what shes talking about!" Inuyasha interrupted her.
"OK..." Kegome said as she walked away.
"Im done relaxing lets go Sango."
They both turned away leaving Inuyasha behind.

Later on that night. Everyone sat around an open fire. Kegome got up and
said "Im going for alittle walk." she turned around and headed towards the lake.
"Why dont you go with her Inuyasha just incase anything happens." Miroku said
"Heh, why dont you go?"
"Im protecting Sango" Miroku answered
"Ahh whatever I need a little walk myself." he said and got up to leave.
"HA, Nows my chance to tell Kegome." Inuyasha thought.
Finally when Inuyasha caught up with Kegome he slowly sat down next to her by the lake.
They looked at each other for a sec before they both said at the same time...
"Inuyasha I..."
"Kegome I....."
"You first Inuyasha." Kegome insisted.
"Ummm alright" Inuyasha answered.
"Kegome I...I love you and I never ever want to lose you! I want you to know the truth.
Last night I had a dream. I drempt that the wind was taking you far away and that I would
never see you again! I tried to stop you but I couldnt! I NEVER WANT TO LOSE YOU!!! I ...I truly love you!"
Inuyasha said this as tears formed in his eyes. He looked up and saw that tears had formed
in Kegome's eyes as well. He then grabbed for Kegome and hugged her tightly.
"Inuyasha... I...I love you too!" Kegome hugged him back.
"I never knew how to tell you this but I have always loved you as well and I would never want
to lose you either." Kegome said
Inuyasha then pulled Kegome out a little so he could see her face. He touched her cheeck and
her closer. His nose touched hers and slowly their lips met. He hugged her tightly and she did the same.
After a few minutes thier lips parted but soon met again.

Inuyasha and Kegome soon walked back to the fire hand in hand.
When they got their Sango and Miroku were also kissing.
"Lets not disturb them." kegome whispered to Inuyasha.
They both walked to the lake. Kegome and Inuyasha sat down. Inuyasha turned Kegome's face to look at his.
Thier lips met once again and they lay down together sharing a moment they might never forget.
