***Unexpected*** By: Yesi The night was quiet and peaceful and Inuyasha and the others were setting up for the night, when Kagome sensed Jewel Shards headed their way. "I can sense Jewel Shards and their coming fast" "Stand back everyone, I'll defeat it and get the Jewel Shards" Inuyasha said confident with himself. Then out of nowhere Kouga appeared. "What the hell are you doing here wolf, did you come here for a fight or something" "Actually no, I came here to see how Kagome was doing" Kouga said walking up to Kagome. This made Inuyasha very angry. "How many times do I have to tell you wolf, Kagome is not your property so stop pretending she's your woman cause she's not!!" Inuyasha yelled. "I claimed Kagome as my woman remember mutt face or is your memory that slow" Inuyasha got even more Mad and was about to beat the crap out of him. Kouga was about to do the same, when Kagome got between the two and stopped them from killing each other. "Inuyasha stop this, Kouga is not our enemy. I don't know why you always get so uptight when he's around, why can't you try to get along with Kouga for once" Kagome said. "Are you Crazy!!! There's no way that I'll get along with that guy" He yelled. "Here we go again" Miroku sighed. "Every time Kouga's around it always ends up the same way" Sango pointed out. "What's Inuyasha's problem?? Kagome would never leave Inuyasha to be with Kouga, I wish he would just lighten up" Shippou said. "I heard that Shippou, I dare you to come say that in my face!!" Inuyasha yelled with frustration. Shippou jumped on Kagome's shoulder he was too scared to face him. "Leave Shippou alone Inuyasha he's just a kid. Say Kouga since you are here how would you like to spend the night with us" Kagome said very Kindly. "Since you asked, sure why not…I'll head back in the morning" Kouga smiled. (Why is Kagome always so nice to him when he's around, it's like Kouga's trying to take Kagome away from me.) Inuyasha thought. After discussing their plans for tomorrow, they all went to sleep, but Kouga couldn't put himself to fall asleep. All he did was watch Kagome sleep in her sleeping bag, soon after Kagome awoke and noticed that Kouga was still up. "What's wrong Kouga can't sleep??" She said quietly. "Don't worry about me Kagome, there's just a lot of things going through my mind right now" "What kind of things??" Kagome asked curiously. "Come with me and I'll tell you" Kagome agreed and followed Kouga. But what they didn't know was that Inuyasha was also awake, he saw Kagome go with him. He decided that he would follow them and see what Kouga was up to. Kouga took her deep into the forest away from the others. Inuyasha was above a tree and tried to be as quite as possible so he wouldn't get caught. "Kagome…I came here for a reason" Kouga said very seriously. "What reason is that Kouga??" Inuyasha was listening near by, he was eager to know why he dragged Kagome so deep into the forest late at night. He continued listening as Kouga spoke again. "Kagome I couldn't stand it anymore, I had to see you…Kagome I really love you" And without Kagome expecting it Kouga grabbed Kagome and kissed her deeply and passionately. Inuyasha was in shock at Kouga's actions, at that moment he wanted to kill Kouga for what he was doing but he couldn't, he couldn't move he felt his whole body go numb as he watched them. He couldn't bare to watch any longer so he leaped from tree to tree till he lost sight of them. Kagome realized what he was doing and stopped the kiss. "What's wrong??" kouga asked. "I'm sorry Kouga but I'm deeply in love with Inuyasha and he loves me, I really care about him a lot, he's my one and only true love" "I see, don't worry Kagome I understand. Inuyasha's a lucky man to have a wonderful person like you to love him" Kouga said sadly. "I'm glad you understand Kouga, you'll find your true love someday. Never give up hope" Kagome said giving Kouga a friendly hug. "We should go and get some sleep now" She said. "You go on with out me, I'll just say here for awhile" Kagome headed back to the others, as she continued walking she saw Inuyasha leaning against a tree. "Oh hey Inuyasha, What are you doing up??" Inuyasha looked at Kagome he felt sadness deep in his heart. "Kagome I saw you and Kouga" "So you saw when Kouga kissed me??" Kagome said feeling guilty. "I thought we were together, I thought you were in love with me Kagome" Inuyasha said with a sad voice. Kagome 's eyes began to fill up with tears she never meant to cause Inuyasha so much pain. "Inuyasha I do love you with all my heart, you got it all wrong with me and Kouga. I told him that I was deeply in love with you and I truly am, it was destiny that you and I meet, we were meant to be together. I'm sorry I never meant for this to happen" Inuyasha went up to her and held her in his arms. "Kagome I'm so sorry that I accused you, please forgive me. It's just that I love you so much and I don't wanna lose you. For some reason I always get so jealous when you're around Kouga, its like he's trying to take you for himself" "You don't have to worry Inuyasha. Kouga and I are just friends, I told you I would always be by your side and I will…I love you so much" "Kagome…I love you too" Inuyasha brought Kagome closer for a kiss they kissed tenderly as they craved for each other some more. Kagome laid on the grass as Inuyasha kissed Kagome's neck and chest, Kagome melted as he left kisses on her neck then slowly to her chest. Inuyasha continued until he heared some one walking towards them, it was Kouga and he was in aw as he watched Inuyasha Kiss Kagome's neck and chest area. They both saw him and got up quickly from the ground pretending that nothing happened. "KOUGA WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs as he felt completely embarrassed. "Can't a guy take a walk around here" Kouga smiled sinisterly. Kagome could feel her face turn a bright shade of red she's never been caught kissing Inuyasha especially like that. "Hey Kouga please promise me you won't tell anyone about what you just saw" Kagome said nervously. "I promise Kagome, I won't tell anyone" "You better not tell any one because if you do, I'll snap your neck in two" Inuyasha said. "I'd like to see you try" Inuyasha was about to pull out his Tetsusaiga and battle with him. "Inuyasha please stop fighting" Kagome pleaded. He did what Kagome said he didn't want to upset her with him and Kouga fighting. "You're lucky Kagome's here wolf" "Whatever!!!" And with that Inuyasha, Kagome and Kouga went back to where the others were to finally get some sleep. ***THE END***
