Deck 3: Deckout

Intro: Deck has one main, simple, purpose in DMO; to make the opponent have no cards left in their deck and therefore lose automatically. This is done, in most deckouts, and the one I'll show you here, by 'needle worm' being reused and recycled.

Support cards:

Name: Needle Worm
Effect Monster
Level: 2
Type: Insect
Attribute: Earth
Attack: 750
Defence: 600
FLIP: Discard 5 cards from the top of your opponent's deck to his/her graveyard.

This card screams deckout. Simply lay it face down and flip it face up, and they're 5 cards worse off. Cards which can flip it face down/revive it form graveyard/stall for it are listed below: (Oh, and yes, put X3 of these in)

Name: Book of Moon
Type: Quick-Play Spell
Flip 1 face-up monster on the field into face-down Defense Position.

This allows you to flip your needles, then play this and get their effect twice. A definate X3, it's invredibly useful. Prehaps use Magicians of Faith to get these back from the graveyard.

Name: The Shallow Grave
Type: Normal Spell
Each player takes 1 Monster Card from his/her respective Graveyard and Special Summons them on the field in face-down Defense Position.

This card's really useful, being unrestricted. It gets your needles back in face down; ready to be used again immediatly. The downside is the opponent can do the same, so watch out for cards in his grave he can use.

Name: Gravity Bind
Type: Continuous Trap
All Level 4 or higher monsters on the field cannot attack.
Stall is vital for a needle worm deck; without stall, your opponent will trample over your needles and destroy your lifepoints. This, and messenger of peace, can be very useful to stop your opponent in their tracks.

Name: Spear Cretin
Effect Monster
Level: 2
Type: Fiend
Attribute: Dark
Attack: 500
Defence: 500
FLIP: After this card is flipped, when it is sent to the Graveyard, both you and your opponent select 1 monster from your respective Graveyards and Special Summon it on the field in face-up Attack Position or face-down Defense Position (no Tribute is required for monster of Level 5 or more).

Spear Cretin, similar to the shallow grave, allows you to reuse your needles over and over again. The average deck has around 42 cards, which means you'll need to use your needling effect 5-7 times in a duel! These revivals can really annoy your opponent.

Other Cards to investigate: Messenger of Peace, Magician of Faith, Book of Taiyou, Witch of the Black Forest, Sangan, Morphing Jar, Dust Tornado

Deckout Deck Rating: Tier 2
