1: Rolecalls

Rolecalls are, simply, everyone calling out what role they have. This can be very useful for the townies, when all roles are already known, since it puts the mafia ina tough position. All townies should generally call out their real role. The only option for mafia is to lie. This will narrow the suspects down to 2 people; the one who claimed the correct role, and the liar. If you vote them both off, you win.

Common terminology is rolecalls/rollclaiming is a counter-claim. This means that if somebody calls a role and you have the role yourself, you say so and 'counter' their claim, revealing their lie (Of course, a fake counter-claim could work but it would leave you as the suspect afterwards).

2: Avoiding suspiscioun

Avoiding suspiscion as a townie is possibly the most helpful thing you can do, as it narrows down the pool. by simply staying in the dark the mafia are more likely to be lynched. Claiming citizen, however, can soemtimes have negative implications on your team. By claiming vanilla townie the mafia, if they do not kill you, have narrowed down the possibility of killing a power role.
