Xenaverse News
18th September: For those who are waiting to see Lucy Lawless in the Discovery series 'Warrior Women' the european aring starts 15th of Ocotober. For more details on this and any other XEna related item see Sharon's Xena page which is run by the editor of the Official Xena Fan club. The site is linked to the Creation Entertainment WEbsite see links page for address.
14th September: Lucy Lawless is set to appear in Tarzan. More info soon. (for those who can't wait check out Tom's Xena Page for more details. Adress on links page.)
7th August 2003: Finallly just as I was giving up on the UK, the Channel 'Bravo', available on Cable and Digital, has started broadcasting Xena and Hercules. Herc is howing at the weekends in the morning and is repeated at &:00pm while XEna is on during the week at 9:50am and is repeated at 6:05. No sign of Channel Five bringing XEna back. One Reason could be that they have said in the past that the show has' low viewing figures'. Sky is still showing on the 'Sky Mix' channel at 6:00pm.
I'm still thinking of starting a petition for Xena fans to show the UK companies  that though the show has finished the fan base is still going strong as it's not just the TV stations that are limiting XEna in the UK.

Xena Movie: I heard a rumour months about how Lucy Lawless has said that a Xena movie was on the cards though different sites has different  info on this rumour. Everything from the story being based in Egypt. The rumor that  Miria Carie will sing for the sound track is not true.

13th May 2003: Lucy Lawlees appers on the UK's 'V Grahamn Norton' Very funny interview and the only studio apperance of LL in the UK I've seen. A brief mention also od her new Discovery series- which is being filmed. More detials and Transcript coming soon.

The Matrix: Reload. Another prime example how those who dedicated over 6 years to the Xena and Hercules Verse have gone on to greater things. This film features at least four Xena cast members including Anthony Wong (Lin Qui, 'Back in the Bottle') who's chracter is also in the 'Enter the Matrix' game. Gina Torres (Cleopatra season 3 'King of the Assains' who is also starring in 'Firefly' a new sci-fi programme created by the same guy who came up with Buffy and Angel. Also Nathienal Lees who has appeared in a huge number of Xena and Hercules episodes including the Some of the Herc films as well in also in the film. more added soon.

TV shows are also including more and more members of the Xenverse such as the Aussie Soap 'Nieghbours' . Its shown in the UK and Australia, maybe in some other selected areas, which recently had three cast members thoough two have left. I'm unsure if they have perminatly left because they weren't killed off.  Steven Lovette who played a Roman general in Season 4 Episode 'A Good Day' and Hades through out the 5th Season is playing a single parent called Max. The two that have recently left are Mark Rafferty who appeared twice in the 1st season playing bad guys Hyperion ('The TItains') and a bad guy in a 'A Royal Couple Of Thieves' and Michelle Ang who played 'Akemi' in 'A Friend in Need'.
29th October 2002: Lucy Lawless has signed up for a new Discovery Channel five part series named 'Warrior Women' according to th UK 'TV &Saterllite week' magazine 'Lucy Lawless may have laid her cult character Xena: Warrior Princess to rest, but she certainly hasn't turned her back on the Battle feild'. The series is ment to start next summer with Lawless visting the UK, France and the US on the trail of Joan of Arc, Boadicea and Mulan' the question the Magazine asks is 'will she, we wonder, be weilding her metal bra and Chalkra'
