Homeless Animals Need Your Help!
You're at the grocery store doing your weekly shopping trip, you've got the canned corn and the frozen fish.  You've picked up your fresh tomatoes, and some cookies for the kids, but did you remember dog food?

What's that?  You don't have a dog?  That's OK.  Thousands of dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals are looking to you for help.  You don't have to open up your home, you don't have to go out of your way.  Pick up that bag of dog food at the grocery store.  Grab a couple extra bottles of bleach the next time you're at Walmart.  Hang on to your old news papers and rags.  These are all things that your local animal shelter can use!

It takes barely any effort to help out and it could mean so much to an animal looking for a home.

So, here it is, your shopping list.  Take it with you next time you go shopping.
Cat/Kitten Chow (Dry)

Of course, animal shelters can also use donations of money and time.  Most shelters have volunteer programs and foster home programs.  You can also give the give of veterinary care or sponsor an individual animal.
