Diana is the daughter of King Lias and bears an uncanny physical resemblance to Xena, although the spoilt princess is nothing like Xena as a person. King Lias asks Xena for her help in protecting his daughter from assassins which leads to Xena switching places with Diana, causing some confusion, not least of all to poor Gabrielle! (see "Warrior, Princess").
One of the Titans, Prometheus angered the gods by giving the gift of fire to humans. As punishment, Zeus chained him to a rock and sent an eagle every day to peck out his liver. In "Prometheus", Xena and Hercules team up to rescue him, otherwise, the gifts of fire and healing will be lost forever.
Ravenica was not a very nice person at all. She was a bounty hunter who was planning to capture Xena for a reward (see "Takes One To Know One"). Part of her technique for trapping her prey was to cut the tendons of her victims' horses so they could not escape. In this instance, it proved to be her downfall. Argo sensed the danger she was in and took steps to protect herself. She kicked her victim, who then flew through the window back into her room. Struggling to her feet, she was hit by the candelabra twice and fell on her own knife.
Salmoneus is a salesman who is always coming up with new schemes in an attempt to make money. Inevitably, his schemes land him in trouble more than once. He first meets Xena in "The Gauntlet" and he is full of admiration for her courage and refusal to give up and die. He is next seen in "The Black Wolf" where he is thrown into prison, thanks to Gabrielle and turns up once again in "The Greater Good" where he mourns the death of the warrior princess.
The last we have heard of Salmoneus (from HTLJ) is that he is serving a prison sentence for tax evasion
Many years ago, Samsara was a fierce Tretomlec warrior, when the Northern Amazons were little more than a scattered band of women whose menfolk had been killed by the Samites (see "Lifeblood"). Samsara is filled with hatred and a strong lust for revenge against the Samites for the deaths of her family at their hands.
When Cyane, a teenage girl, is pulled from the future into the past, Samsara is shocked that this is the Atma, their tribe's supposed saviour. She does not readily accept Cyane but does not go against Kahina's wisdom. She even saves Cyane's life, although she does this out of loyalty to her tribe.
Once the Samites have been defeated, Samsara wants to quench her bloodlust by killing each and every last one of them. Kahina refuses to let her do this so Samsara breaks her connection with the tribe and rides off alone.
In the present day, Samsara's spirit tries to prevent Xena from obtaining the Atma dagger. She realises that this will change the future of the Northern Amazons, making them a less bloodthirsty and more peaceful nation.
