Cyane
The present queen of the Northern Amazons (see "Path of Vengeance" and "To Helicon And Back") Cyane was formerly Eris, the second-in-command to Queen Cyane (see "Lifeblood" and "Kindred Spirits"). As it is the custom in this tribe that all their queens adopt the name of Cyane, when Eris became queen she put aside her old name. |

Destroyer, 'The Destroyer' was the monster child of Hope and Ares. In "A Family Affair", he tries to protect Hope at the cost of his own life (and hers as it happens) when he mistakes her for Gabrielle. A blue, spiky creature (rather like a hedgehog on stilts) he was killed by Xena. (I personally thought 'the Destroyer' was quite cute and with a bit of love and tenderness could have grown up to be quite a nice person! After all, he didn't get much of a good start did he? I blame the parents!). |

Draco
Draco is the handsome warlord who wants Xena to fight by his side, raiding villages and causing general mayhem. Although painted as cruel and ruthless, he also shows a tender side (albeit briefly) when he agrees not to attack Potidaea, at Xena's request (see "Sins Of The Past"). However, he then double-crosses Xena by planning to attack her home village of Amphipolis. The next time we meet him, he has plans to sell some temple virgins into slavery but, after being hit by one of Cupid's arrows, he falls for Gabrielle and swears to change his ways in order to win her love (see "A Comedy Of Eros"). |

Eli
Initially a street magician, Eli realises his potential for healing and, as a result, saves Gabrielle's life when she is possessed by a demon (see "Devi"). Eli teaches Gabrielle the 'Way of Love' which leads Gabrielle to throw away her staff and abandon violence (see "The Way"). However, in "Ides Of March", Gabrielle chooses the 'Way of Friendship' instead. She decides her love for her friend is too important and that, unlike Eli, she cannot stand back and do nothing whilst her friend is in danger. |

Grindl
Grindl is Grinhilda's son (see "The Rheingold" and "The Ring"). In "The Rheingold", Xena mistakes Grindl for Grinhilda, not knowing that Grinhilda was pregnant with Odin's child when she sacrificed her humanity to stop Xena from keeping the ring. Xena fails to defeat Grindl and nearly dies trying. However, in "The Ring", Xena manages to kill Grindl but realises it was not Grinhilda when she sees all its fingers are intact. |

Hades
The God of the Underworld. Hades has asked for Xena's help more than once. On one such occasion, Xena, with the help of her dead lover, Marcus, retrieves the Helmet of Invisibility from Atyminius, thus restoring the good souls to their rightful place in the Elysian Fields and returning the evil ones to Tartarus (see "Mortal Beloved"). In return, Hades agrees to judge Marcus' soul for a second time and, based on Xena's plea, agrees that he should be allowed to spend eternity in the Elysian Fields. |

Iolaus
Iolaus, Hercules' best friend is fiercely loyal and brave. He is kind and gentle and always willing to help others. He makes the ultimate sacrifice when he saves Nebula's life, throwing himself in front of the knife that would have surely killed her. |
