Episode 1.2 - Chariots Of War
Xena is wounded rescuing a peaceful village from a warloard's attack, and is rescued in turn by the widowed Darius and his young children. Meanwhile, Gabrielle befriends the warlord's son, Sphaerus, who is torn between desire of his father's approval and revulsion at his violence. As Sphaerus' father presses for a slaughter, Xena has to choose between the lure of peaceful family life and fighting to defend the innocent.
