PERK | ||||||
PERK deviates from the usual Totem Spectre stuff in only one aspect: it's aimed at a Public. Where Totem Spectre usually does it's usual thing, Perk takes the heat a step closer to the people and bases it's glory on lyrical content that could apply to literally anyone. During the heyday of Perk, the Puppet actively relived his adolescent times, drinking beer and smoking pot a lot. A couple of gigs were done with this material, but the original drive of Totem Spectre keeps calling to dig deeper into sonic possibilities, with NO TIES to any kind of conformism. So Perk is exit. Two albums were released: "Perk: And You Would Be?" and "Perk: Take A Walk" which were almost similar except for the mastering effects applied and 1 song. Also, some later-day unreleased songs appeared on "Totem Spectre: Side Projects", but the project was already dead and buried at the time of that release, so... There are a few other artists calling themselves Perk - and they're active on the web. We have no affiliation with them whatsoever, although we respect them for being artists ofcourse. Please do not confuse us with them, because it wouldn't flatter us. Perk consisted of: Puppet Xeno Valley Lynch Mr Texan Dr No |
