VOLT SPECTRE
For some time, The Puppet was part of a wave/rock band called Volt Stupor. At some point, during the absence of then-guitarist Ed (staged right), the opportunity rose to collaborate with singer Renate to write new songs.

Four jams were recorded, of which three made it to CD. These are intriguing works, a cross hatch between the usual Totem Spectre stuff and the Volt Stupor sound of that time.

Renate did vocals and synth (a gnarly Juno 106)
Puppet did guitar, bass and drum programming.

The three songs were named:
- Game (because of lyrical content)
- Elysium (because of Nirvana-esque structure)
- Caress (because of atmospheric content: no drums, just synth, bass and vocals)

The guy on the left is the electro/synth artist Grainshifter - aka Bas (check out
The Shipwrecked EJ's)

Sadly things didn't work out between Puppet and Ed - attempts to keep the lot together proved futile - things collided, and crashed. Puppet packed his things and walked away...
