The two girls looked at each other strangely.  Piper wondered if they were in trouble.  Trinity shrugged her shoulders, knowing what Piper was thinking.  Trinity walked over to Scully, while Piper walked over to Mulder.  Scully walked down the road towards the latrine, while Mulder led Piper towards the lodge.
Scully and Trinity sat in the same place they had sat in earlier with Piper.  Trinity drank some water, while she waited for Scully to start asking questions.  Trinity noticed one of the units, Rocky Road, doing archery in the field with Aloha.
“Trinity, what were you and Piper doing in the woods at the time of Jill’s and Eileen’s death?”
“Well, Piper and I wanted to go talk to Drippy, so we went down to the waterfront.  When we didn’t see her, Piper decided that she needed to use the latrine.  The closest latrine is the one up the hill, so we went to go use it.”
“What happened?”  Scully asked.  She felt like she was more than an investigator.  She felt like she was a friend of Trinity’s, even though Trinity didn’t feel the same way.
“Well, we were going up the hill when I heard an awful scream.  I looked down and there was Jill and Eileen’s bodies.”
“What did you do after seeing the…bodies?”
“Well, Piper and I got scared, of course.  The first thing we did was scream, and then we ran down the hill and saw Drippy.  We tried to explain to her what happened but she confused so we ran to the lodge and got you guys.”
“Did you notice anything out of the ordinary either before you find Jill and Eileen or before found Megan?”
Trinity thought for a moment.  “I thought I saw something in the woods before we saw the bodies.  But Piper saw something while they were searching for Megan.  That was when she ran into the woods but she told me it was nothing.  I think she was lying.”
     “How can you tell?”
“She was staring into the woods with a blank look on her face.  By her eyes, I could tell something was wrong.”
“Bu your not sure what it was?”
“No.  Like I said, she wouldn’t tell me.”

Meanwhile, Mulder took Piper to the lodge.  There was no one else there, but they could here a unit singing in the background.  Piper was afraid she wouldn’t be able to answer some of the questions Mulder was about to ask her.  Mulder, on the other hand, wondered how Scully was doing with Trinity.
“Piper, when did you first see the bodies?”  Mulder asked.
“Trinity and I were on our way to the latrine that the unit Weeds uses. On the way there we heard a scream.  Trinity and I stopped for a few seconds, but then began up the hill again, just wanting to get to a place where a leader might be.  That’s when we saw the bodies.”  Piper responded shakily.
“What did you do after that?”
“Then we too screamed, and ran down the hill.  That’s when we ran into Drippy.  Then Trinity and I went to the lodge and got you and Agent Scully.”
“Are you sure that’s exactly how it happened?”
“You think Trinity and I murdered those girls, don’t you.  You think just because we’re willing to help and because we were the ones who found a few of the bodies that we did it to those girls.  I know how federal people think.”
“No, I don’t think you did that to those poor girls.  I just have nothing else to go on right now.  It’s very frustrating for Agent Scully and myself.  But you and Trinity have been a great help.”
Mulder asked her a few more questions almost identical to the ones Scully had asked Trinity.  Mulder gave Piper his card for his cellular number.  He told her to call him, if anything else happened.
Scully soon came up the road with Trinity holding her hand.  Trinity gratefully walked up to Piper.  They stood next to each other like a pair of inseparable twins.
Mulder and Scully later dropped Trinity and Piper off at Woodston.  She and Mulder then took a walk around in the woods near the waterfront.  As they exited the woods, Scully saw a unit of younger girls splashing in the water.  She wondered how any of those girls lives may now be in danger.  She looked at their smiling faces, which made her think of her sister and herself.  They had a house once with a small pond in the back and she and her sister used to play in it all the time.
“Scully.”  Mulder said coming out of the woods.  “I think what we need to do is sit down and discuss the evidence that we have collected, as seldom as that may be.”  When Scully didn’t seem to respond, Mulder tapped her on the shoulder.  “What is it Scully?”
“How many more girls have to die before we can solve this?”  She asked.
Mulder shook his head, not knowing what to tell her.  “Let’s go to the lodge.”  They began walking until they made it to the lodge.  A few leaders were sitting on the lodge porch and another unit walked by in their bathing suits.  Mulder grabbed two foldable chairs and brought them to the back of the lodge.  He didn’t want anyone, especially a girl, to overhear what they were talking about.  The two of them took a seat, ready to organize their thoughts.
“I think we can drop the thought of Piper and Trinity being the murderers.”  Scully said suddenly.  “They seem pretty innocent and we have no evidence against them.  I don’t think two young girls like that, could murder so…nicely.  Whoever is the murder, has certainly been doing it for a long time, or has very good practice.”
“I think you’re right, but we can’t rule them out completely.”  Mulder said.
“Let’s look at the evidence we have.  Every victim was from the same unit, Woodston.  They were all girls between the ages of twelve to fourteen.  Besides that, they seem to be from different ethnic background and different ways of living.”
“I think what we need to do is have the woods searched.”
“Yes, but Daisy would never let us do that.  She won’t shut down the lake and she won’t close the camp.  I think at this point in time, she’s the only suspect we have.  Mulder, I think what we need to do is position ourselves at Woodston.  No one leaves with one of us with them.”
“We’re going to have to tell the girls what’s going on.”  Mulder said.  “I don’t understand how they could have gone this long without telling them.  Wouldn’t the girls be curious as to why five girls are suddenly missing?”
“They’re teenagers, if you told them they all had small pox, they would believe you.”  Mulder laughed and the two of them got up to go to Woodston.
Three hours later, Mulder and Scully were sitting by a large fire that burned in a pit in the ground.  A bag of things that could be burned was next to them.  Trinity was feeding the fire with some of the objects.  Scully warmed her hands over the fire.  The day had become unnaturally cold for a day in July.
The rest of the girls still had no idea what was going on.  They were told that three of the girls had caught the flu, and that it was going around camp.  They were told that the other two girls were going on vacation.  As Scully had predicted, the rest of the unit bought the story.  No one had left the unit since Mulder and Scully had gotten there.  No where dared move, unaware of what would happen if they did.
The rest if the day passed and nothing happened.  A few of the girls left the unit one at a time but either Mulder and Scully was with them.  No more dead bodies were recovered and nothing else happened.  Mulder and Scully left with the rest of the girls at the end of the day.  They went back to their hotel room with more questions than answers.
The next day Mulder and Scully came prepared to camp with sleeping bags and camping equipment.  They spent the whole day with Woodston, doing what they had done the night before.  The followed the girls wherever they went and it continued on like that.
The day was boring, but Scully found herself constantly looking around.  The camp was beautiful and Woodston had a gorgeous view of the lake.  There were various types of trees around the unit and the water shimmered like a million diamonds.  The entire place was beautiful but Scully wished she were there under better circumstances.
The day came and went.  At around three the rest of the units left except for Woodston.  They ate dinner a few hours later.  It was a simple dinner, just cooking hot dogs over an open fire.  After they had finished cleaning up, they went to go pitch their tents in the meadow.  It took a long time for some of the girls to figure out how to put their tent up.  Piper and Trinity’s was the first one up.  After going there for so many years, Piper could pitch a tent in her sleep.
When all the tents were put up, the girls all sat in a circle in the meadow.  They needed to decide who would sleep in what tent.  It was finally decided that Mulder, Scully, Trinity, and Piper would share one tent.  The other girls just split up, not really caring which tent they slept in.
As soon as it turned dark, the girls decided to go on a night hike.  Mulder and Scully decided to stay behind, trying to decide what to do when they slept over.  Trinity and Piper asked to stay, too, but Star made them go with the rest of the unit.
The night hike soon came and went.  As soon as it was over the girls begged to go to bed without smores.  Most of them were too tired to even open their mouths to eat.  Their wish was granted.  Trinity and Piper walked to their tent and went inside.  Mulder and Scully were already inside.
Trinity unrolled her sleeping bag and asked to be near the window.  She put her sleeping bag next to Scully.  Piper decided to be near the door so her sleeping bag went next to Mulder’s.  Mulder and Scully’s sleeping bags were already set up next to each other’s.  Piper and Trinity were soon changed and sound asleep.
During the night Trinity woke up from a noise she heard in the woods.  She sat straight up, afraid to move.  She then leaned over Scully and Mulder and tapped Piper.  She woke up with a start, and looked straight at Trinity.
