{or Who's Doing What To Whom in and around Aetolia, Calydon and Ithaka}

Caravan to Ithaka

- Xena and Gabrielle are accompanying a merchants' caravan, which includes Salmoneus, Amarise, Ephiny and Eponin (away on walkabout from their tribe) Gab's sister Lila, Kimiko (a katana-wielding traveller from far away Jappa) Diomedes (a Trojan war veteran and friend of Odysseus) and Kara (a wounded runaway slave and reluctant gladiator.) They passed through the Aetolian foothills and are now preparing to sail to the island kingdom of Ithaka, where civil unrest is brewing. Along the way, they befriended a half-Roman, half-Egyptian girl called Andromeda, only to discover that her father is Julius Caesar, who turned up along with Antony in search of his runaway daughter (not to mention the prize stallion she stole from him!) Caesar and Xena, who have not seen each other in the 10 years since he betrayed and crucified her, have agreed to an uneasy truce for the sake of the young girl. They have also captured the mad rogue Amazon Elwar (Ephiny's niece) much to the consternation of her friend Chuchulain (Morrigan's nephew, who has journeyed to Greece in search of Hercules, and is unaware of Elwar's true nature.) Ephiny and Eponin meanwhile have gone on ahead, and have just encountered Nebula in a tavern. Ephiny's arm is in a splint/sling, and Eponin's head is bandaged, after an attack by Elwar.

Meanwhile, an Ithakan intriguer named Damastor, brother of one of the slain suitors for Penelope's hand, is skulking about in the back alleyways of Calydon, and a familiar-looking blonde with a secret, calling herself "Sirrah," has washed ashore on the rocky island of Ithaka.......

Amazons, Tramps and Thieves

- Autolycus and his new partner in crime, a nubile runaway Amazon princess named Sabrina, have just completed a mission: returning to the Temple of Hades a precious ruby that had been stolen by a young thief named Anticlea. However, Anticlea has been knocked unconcsious by a drugged dart from a booby trap, and now they must make their escape and get her to a healer!

Temporarily Dormant Plotlines

- Hercules, his friend the artist Andra (who he recently learned is both a sleep-walking cat-burglar by night, and a former princess - and priestess - of Troy) recently left the abode of Gaea, mother of all creation (and Herc's great-grandmother) met up with the mermaid Nautica, and have been transported to an unknown location called Dire Straits, where they are menaced by mysterious and malevolent aquatic forces.

Back at Gaea's vine-covered little cottage-o-mystery in the woods, assorted Olympian gods (including Hades, Ares, Artemis, Athena, Aphrodite, Discord, Tempest, Strife and Deimos) had confronted her over her acquisition of the Palladium, an artifact of indescribable power which many of them had their cosmic eyes set upon. We can imagine their party looking something like this:

But eventually most of them gave up, realizing that she had all the power. Hades has returned to his temple to discover his ruby (see above) missing, whereupon he enlisted the help of Ares to get it back; Artemis and Aphropdite remain in Gaea's company, while the others have gone on about their mischief elsewhere.

- Back in the city of Calydon, Minya, warrior-thespian, and her partner, Falel, a grizzled mercenary, have just won a ballroom dance contest at Twanky's Terpsichorean Academy of Dance, after many misadventures (including incursions by everyone from Discord to a motley band of barbarians.)

- And just around the corner, Joxer the mighty, scrounge of the Scythians ... errr... that's scourge of the Scythians, has fallen for the luscious mermaid Nautica (see above) due to a love spell (cast by the goddess Tempest, aka Peitho, goddess of Persuasion) gone awry. Accompanied by Xena's slutty double Meg, he has sought the advice of Tempest's devotee Mekhare, a chatty Egyptian harpist, who has suggested they try to help Tempest find her lost necklace. Meanwhile, the menacing and over-acting warlord Horius Ahipenius is preparing his revenge....
