WF-02-MD Virgo II

After the success of the Virgo mobile dolls, the Romefeller foundations head weapons designer, Tsuberov, decided to upgrade the Virgo. The Virgo II was to feature twice the amount of planet defensors (eight) and it was to have a better manuvering system with verniers, similar to the Tallgeese. Another significant change was the fact that under the Virgo II's shoulders, there was to be two beam sabers, the first to go on a mobile doll. The dolls were set to go on production lines in the near future, but the Romefeller Foundation's plans were foiled after the uprising of the White Fang rebels. They took control of OZ's lunar base, and captured the Virgo II's, and painted them in their own color scheme. (A nasty brownish color) They armed them with beam rifles instead of the usual beam cannon and they put a unique system on the Virgo II. A mobile doll system that can be controlled by a human, so they can think and as the battle changes, they can change their tactics. This system was based on the Zero system, and it gave the Gundams many problems. And the Gundams was forced to have a plan of thier own. The Virgo II was mass-produced, and was the backbone of the White Fang military.

The Virgo II itself was a marvel of engineering, and this just goes to show you the advancements of the OZ mobile suits in just one year.
