| Stuff I Noticed: *Originally titled When It's Time to Change *Right before Brad says, "Boring" The teacher is talking about, and excuse my spelling, the axel loffel, a primitive amphibian. *When Tuck is seen screaming in the ferris wheel, it's a reference to Raggedy Android. When Tuck is screaming in the spaceship, it's a reference to Unlicensed Flying Object. I'm not sure what was with the neopolitan ice cream. *When Tuck is in the ferris wheel screaming, the side says 12, how ever, in Raggedy Android, the side of Tuck's ferris wheel says 13. *Why would the school hire Vexus to be the photographer? *Right before Vexus transforms out of her disguise, it says Quakers in the background. *As Jenny is destroying the school, it says lockers in the background. *How is it possible that Jenny could hear the school bell on another planet? *This is the third appearance of Mezmer's |
| My rating and review: Wow. Where do I begin? I'll start with Vexus. Vexus is a villian, but in a good sense of the word. Meaning that she is probably the greatest villian in all of cartoon history! I mean, hmmm, how do you say that you enjoy seeing a villian? I suppose we have to put the show in perspective. It's make believe, so therefore liking Vexus, as a character, is all right, and the norm. Everyone says that she's the best villian yet, and how can you blame them? She's...well...amazing! Now, I will move onto my favorite thing to talk about, Jenny/Tuck. Most of the My Life as a Teenage Robot romance battle is between Jenny/Brad and Jenny/Sheldon fans, I know. But something deep inside of me, as I watch episodes like these, blooms and I cannot stop believing. Look at it this way, did Jenny remember Brad? No. She remembered Tuck. As Oodalang once said to me, "It was like a 'I'd know that scream anywhere' kind of thing". And Tuck, he was so brave. Did it matter to him that Vexus, the queen whom enslaves the human race was standing there in front of the power box? No, it didn't. He was brave, and he is not, as I must say, a brave person. But the thought of losing Jenny, it could not happen to him. He had to save her, and then Jenny saved him. As she said, "If you hurt one hair on his head, your nanobot is toast!" It was almost as if she said, "You cannot hurt the one I love!". And I believe. And now for a little tangent on my part. The whole aspect of having Jenny with puberty, well...let's start from the beginning. The title My Life as a Teenage Robot, it tells an obvious fact. It's a show about a teeenage robot's life, duh. What is probably the most memorable thing from a teenager's life? Puberty of course! It is teenage life! Believe me, I know. I did not think, however, that Nick would dare to touch this part, no matter how huge it was. I give Hostile Makeover an A+. I hope to see more like it. |
