Xiao Jian is Swallow's brother (or so we think). He appeared in the later part of HZGG II as a person looking for his long lost "brother". Swallow was immediately fascinated about his sword, and as always she got in a fight with him. Swallow, Zi Wei, Er Kang, and Yong Qi became friends with Xiao Jian not long after the fight. Er Kang, Zi Wei, Yong Qi was very curious in Xiao Jian because of his great Kun-Fu skill and his extreme smartness. Swallow, of course was only interested in his sword. ^_~ Xiao Jian helped the couples out countless time during their escape from the palace. Yong Qi was jealous of Xiao Jian and Swallow's "relationship". He thought that Swallow is way too nice to Xiao Jian. Swallow constantly praises Xiao Jian. *Spoiler Alert! * Yong Qi got so mad that one day he had an all out sword fight with Xiao Jian. Yong Qi wanted Xiao Jian to tell him what he is really after. Xiao Jian was winning when Swallow, Zi Wei and Liu Hong came out. Swallow, seeing that Yong Qi is losing the battle flew to his rescue (I mean she literally "flew"). Swallow stopped the fight and this is where the surprises came in. Xiao Jian could not stand Yong Qi's jealousy any longer so he finally said, "Yong Qi, don't be jealous, Swallow is my sister."
