The next day, a;sfjaa set out for revenge. She herself was also a skilled hunter and could trace a track that was a week old. She knew that the men had already left the area so she went back to the chief and asked permission to pursue her brother. When she approached her mother, she was deeply angered by the whole ordeal and commanded a;dlfjaa to bring her brother back to the tribe for judgement. Thus, a;sdfkaa gathered her weapons and equipment and left the tribe in search for her brother. She followed the trail all the way north for several days. Finally, the trail ended at the city of Teotihuacan in Mexico. All morning she questioned people in the town of the whereabouts of her brother and his men. However, most of the townsmen did not know where they had gone, and others just stared peculiarly at the way she was dressed. Finally she came upon an old man who told her that he had seen some foreigners heading towards the Pyramid of the Sun. He then directed her towards the pyramids. Once she came to the pyramids she began searching for any sign of people, but no one could be found. Hours went by and she decided to rest and try again in the morning. Asalkjaaa went back to town and got a room in the local inn, unpacked her items, and headed down to search for food in the dining hall. There she ran into a very drunk and loud boy. At first she didn't pay much attention and ordered a roll of bread and some chicken. Later in the evening, the boy came and sat next to her ordering some cheese and bread. "How's it going? He said." She replied, "I don't talk to drunk people." A loud chuckle came out of the boy. "Haha, I'm not drunk. I was just pretending to be cool. I don't even drink. My name is Lee." Lee extended his hand and aa;ldaa shook it replying, "It's nice to meet you." "So what brings a scantily clad woman to a town like this?" "Umm, I am searching for my brother. I followed his trail to the pyramids, but I lost him there." "Ah, the long lost brother bit. I know the pyramids pretty well because I am studying the different pyramids in the world. I could help you if you?d like. Reuniting a brother and sister is what I do - along with saving babies and helping old women across the street." "Yeah, I'm actually finding him to kill him." "Well...ok...I guess I can help you do that too, as long as he's evil of course." "That's not evil...I mean how horrible! What a bastard; he should die!" The next morning Lee and a;fljasdaa met up and headed off towards the pyramid. One the arrived Lee explained to aldjafaa that there are a lot of secret passages in the pyramid and her brother could be hiding in any of them. So, one by one the explored different rooms in the pyramid until they came upon one that had inscriptions written on it in the Aztec language. Lee read the inscription which said, "Here lies the king of the gods." Since disturbing tombs usually resulted in some sort of curse, Lee decided it would be a good idea to move on. However, ad;ljaa, sensed that this passage was the one that they should take. Hesitatingly, Lee followed a;dlaa into the passage and down the long dark tunnel. As they moved further and further into the pyramid they started to hear voices. They inched a bit more into the cave when they heard an animal's roar. "That's the leopard!" cried ad;laaa. Without thinking a;sdfja;a ran ahead and entered into a large chamber where she was greeted by the hunters and the cat. She took one look at the cat who was encaged and bleeding from abuse. Aasldaa was filled with rage and began to slaughter the hunters. She took down at least eight when all of a sudden a bolt of electricity sent her flying across the room. One of the hunters used a powerful electric charger. She was debilitated and could not defend herself. The hunters began to move in closer to her when suddenly, they start hearing stranger noises. They look around but they do not see anything. Unknown to the hunters, while they were occupied with ad;ljaaa, Lee had snuck in behind them and crouched behind a large stone and was projecting his voice to make it seem like a ghost was upon them. After the hunters were discombobulated by the noise, Lee snuck out and appeared before them. "I am the spirit of the pyramid," he said, not being able to think of anything better. "Bullets flew everywhere, but Lee did not budge. After their bullets ran out, Lee was about to pick up a large object he had carried into the cave when he noticed a few of the men dropped dead. Aasdlfaa had recovered and was slaughtering the men once again. The Claw of Demise sliced through hunter after hunter until there was no more. "Wow!" Lee said. "That was tight." He headed over to open the leopard's cage. "So I'm guessing your brother is somewhere in that mess." Aa;sdfaa's head dropped, "No, he wasn't. The group must have split up somewhere. I can't believe I didn't catch it." "Meh, don't be so hard on yourself. You're like a billion miles from home and you just murdilated all these men. You should pat yourself on the back." "I cannot stop until I find my brother. Could you take care of the cat for me?" "Well, I'm sort of allergic to cats, but I guess I can. What are you going to do?" "Hunt down my brother!" Thus, asd;ljaaa began searching the entire continent for her brother. She could not let him harm any other animals, nor could she let down her family. He had to be stopped. |
