Chapter 1: The Beginning of The Great Continent of Peace
There was a big problem in England the people in England hated the laws that was created by the king of England. He made laws that discriminated many of his people. He passed laws that stopped certain people in England to stop them to practice their religion. The many people didn?t believe in their king anymore, and they started to dream they dreamed about one day that they could practice their religion in peace. The many people in England thought about a place like that but only few tried to achieve it.
One of the first colony was called Jamestown that first settled in The New World was a group of rich snobs they all were rich they all came to find gold and to become richer than before. They all knew how to read and write but the one thing that they never learned was how to survive in the wild. All the people who settled in the New World were rich they didn't know how to cook or clean or how to survive in the wild and that was what brought the colony down. Because of that about five hundred people died of deceases and of fevers and most of them died by mere famines. George Percy was one of the survivors, he wrote of the suffering at Jamestown: "Our men were destroyed with cruel deceases as swellings, flies burning fevers, and by warred, and some departed suddenly, but for the most part they died of mere famine. There were never Englishmen left in a foreign country in such miseries" This shows that it wasn't a great success it was bad they didn't know how to take care of themselves and look where they are now, but this was only the beginning for them.
				There were another group that came to the new world in search of a place where they could believe in what they wanted and the group was are called pilgrims the most important people in America. They were the first people who started t0heir American dream and accomplished their dream of freedom of religion. They started their new life in the land they call the New World where there are no laws and a part of the world that was never touched by outsiders. They wanted to break away from England and start their new life in the New World. It was very hard for the pilgrims because they couldn't do anything they didn't know their surrounding and the people in the new world they were the only ones there. They didn't have help from England but they did make a friendship with the Indians. They helped each other out to make sure that both ethnic groups wouldn't do anything to hurt each other. The first settlers started off bad but they wouldn't give up and their dream of a free world came true for them but America didn't get freedom by that. The pilgrims were in search for a world that they could live by themselves in peace and to believe what they wanted to it was a place of peace for them.

One of the many freedom fighters for the pilgrims was William Penn, he was considered a hero because what he did to make his friends and families and the people and himself he was a Quaker one of the many pilgrim groups that came to the new world in search of a better life and to believe what they want. William Penn was a man who believed that everyone should believe in freedom for everyone in the world. He believed in peace on earth. He believed that everyone has equal power like the slaves and women had the same power of others he was one of many people that believes that everything and everyone has power. William Penn didn't like London any more because of all the discrimination by the government by talking them what they can believe I and what can they do. He wasn't able to do anything so he decided to come to the new world to start a colony that everyone could be free and believe in what they want they were out of the king of England's reach and the place that he settled in was that state Pennsylvania as we know it today.
