Why did they Came?

Since earliest times, people form all parts of the world had come to United States. Despite their different backgrounds. People have come together under the American Flag and all looking up to it. Not everyone came to America were considered as "Americans." As you know, the first settlers, which are the Pilgrims, also came here for better lives. Like Jewish, they came for different reasons such as religious freedom, Latin came for jobs. And Chinese were coming for the Gold rush and the holes for riches and better lives. These immigrants had suffered through hardships and had been discriminated many times, hoping that they could have better lives when it's even worse than it was before. They even migrated or immigrated to America. But their lives did changed a lot, in better and worse ways. But they did discover that suffering in America could bring them rich because of job opportunities.
