At this house Beanie Babies have been the rage with everyone in the house collecting them except Nathan (21) and my husband Bobby. Of course, they think we're nuts but it's fun hunting for, and finding that elusive Beanie!!! Even Katelyn loves her beanies and takes real good care of them. : ) I also love and collect teddy bears - can you tell!? UPDATE! Once Mr Ty retired all the beanies (BAD MOVE, Sir!) we all sorta lost interest! Needless to say, we rarely pick up a beanie nowadays, though we all still love those we have! Hee hee!! One day they will be play toys for grandchildren, I'm sure!


We are very much into kid activities with football, basketball and baseball ruling! With two boys now 14 and 21, we have seen a LOT of games! It's lots of fun and we have two very good athletes! The three girls are not much into playing sports - their favorite activity is socializing at the games! LOL! Hannah has begun playing softball these past two summers though, and she is learning the ropes of the game! Katelyn is still just there for the sno-cones and blo-pops! Hee hee!!



I love to take photographs. I have always loved taking pictures of kids, even before I had any! It's also fun to take animal and nature shots, but mostly these days, I take pictures of my kids!

Reading is also an enjoyable pastime for me, though I don't get to read as much as I used to b.c. (before children). My alltime favorite book is John Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress". I love this old classic! I do still enjoy sitting here at the computer and digging into my bible to search out treasures from God's word. Computing has almost replaced my late night reading. Between working on this family site and maintaining a cancer support site, A LEGACY OF HOPE, I stay quite busy on this machine!




Individual Stats!
Bobby works a lot, but when he is not working, he enjoys hunting in the winter and fishing in the spring. His favorite pastime though, is relaxing in the recliner in front of the tv!! He likes watching football, reading gun magazines and collecting guns, and watching the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. WHAT A LIFE! :-)


Nathan is a junior at the University of Alabama, majoring in financial planning. He hasn't shown much interest in webpages yet, so he doesn't have one. Maybe I can make him one soon! Nathan loves football on the high school and college level. During his senior year of High School he won the "Most Valuable Receiver" award. He also served as the long snapper for his team, who won their second straight back to back state championship in the Independent School Association, during Nathan's senior year. They went on to win their third & 4th back to back state championships! We have since moved from Selma Alabama, but still wish the Morgan Academy Senators all the best!


Gretchen is my second born. She is at home right now, attending Troy State University and planning to major in Nutrition. Gretchen is a big animal lover. She enjoys scrapbooking, listening to oldies, contemporary Christian praise, some country, even a bit of classical music. I missed her so much when she went off to Alabama. So for right now, it's good to have her back home and attending college locally!


Zachary is the 3rd born in this household! He is presently in 8th grade as of 2002-2003 school yr. At 14, we are in the throes of teenager-hood once again! That's nice though. I enjoyed my oldest two during their teen years. Zach is very athletic and competitive. He LOVES football! Then he loves basketball, and as the honeysuckles bloom in spring, his thoughts turn to baseball!! HE LOVES BALL!! But football is his favorite - he loves to run the ball! He is driven to be the best no matter what he sets out to do. Hopefully he will always use this feature of his personality in positive ways! He's a good boy, though has a bit of a short fuse at times! Zach has a web site which you can visit by clicking right here!


Hannah is # 4 in the family. She is in 4th grade for the 2002-2003 school year. She is an excellent reader and loves to read. She's also developing quite a writer's knack! She's very much into creative writing these days! Hannah enjoys softball and playing outside! She loves outdoors! Hannah loves animals - in fact all my kids really love animals except Nathan. He tolerates them! One of Hannah's favorite things to watch on tv used to be - Tom & Jerry!!! She loved the old Tom and Jerry cartoons on Cartoon Network. Nightly she could be heard cackling at the antics of that silly ole cat and mouse! Hannah is a sweet girl, with a tender heart. Katelyn is the caboose on this choo choo! She is now 5 1/2 years old, in kindergarten, and a handfull! She was the family surprise, but also a joy and delight! Mom has her hands full with this little squirt! Katelyn is a big animal lover, as are her older sisters and brother Zach. She particularly loves cats but we cannot have one as Mom and Zach are allergic to them - especially Mom! She gets lots of opportunity to love them though, since the neighbors have nice cats. Katelyn loves playing with Barbies and her stuffed animals, especially her Ty kitty cats. She has a great imagination that allows her endless adventures with the kitties and the Barbies.
