Dissolved oxygen is the oxygen that is found in water that has been dissolved by pressure that the water puts on it. It is produced by aquatic plants. There will be more dissolved oxygen if the temperature of the water is colder than normal. Its a gas that's usually measured in milligrams per liter or parts per million or how much it absorbs.
