Odawara Castle

This is a famous castle in Odawara City. We travelled past this on the way and had to turn back to have a look. Well worth the side track.

Shibuya StarBucks

Starbucks is on the right side of the photo. It is behind the 5 storey TV screen. You actually look out from the cafe through it!

First Day in Okinawa

This was the first day in Okinawa, RAINING!

Another Wet Day!

The rain continued on to the second day but we didn't sit around. The pool is heated so we made the most use out of that and the spas where hot enough too!

Old Farm House of Ryuku

On the second day, we ventured out onto the island. We went to Ryuku Village. The rain cleared long enough for us to enjoy something out doors.
This is an example of an old farm house. This was at Ryuku Village and is what the Shisa (next) or similar would've guarded. Notice the air conditioned aspect of this property! Excellent summer feature...

Shisa

These stood outside the house or on top in other forms but they are to warn off evil spirits. You may notice that one has its' mouth open and the other doesn't. This was also at Ryuku Village.

Last day and the clouds clear!
