Lansing USD 469 began using Powerschool as its student information system in the fall of 2002. The Powerschool Student Information System (SIS) from Apple is the leading web-based student information system for K-12 schools and school districts. PowerSchools gives school administrators and teachers the ability to easily and cost-effectively manage student records, and gives parents real-time access to track their children's progress. With PowerSchool, parents can access vital information about their children quickly and accurately. They can see the results of tests and assignments as soon as they are recorded, enabling them to intervene quickly if necessary. Parents can check the latest homework assignments and offer their children help with their schoolwork. Day in and day out, PowerSchool helps parents help their children achieve their potential.
