Cold Spring - it is kept up well, and has lots of history and pride. The grandstand is an awesome backdrop. Worst place to play in CVL and why? Pearl Lake - probably because of the lack of an outfield fence, the small dugouts and we never play very well there. Favorite baseball player to watch growing up - Don Mattingly Why I play amateur baseball - For the love of the game, competition, and to be with a great bunch of guys. Most entertaining umpire in Central MN and why? Definitely Ceril Spanier, who will make a call whether he sees it or not. He may even stop in between innings and have a beer with you. Favorite Quote - Stright from the mouth of Rodney the umpire - "You're out... and if you wern't - you shoulda benn!!" Like/Dislikes about the wood bat coming back - As a pitcher and a purist, wood bats are great for the game. Defense and pitching are now a key.
