How Training for the Ironman is like Building A Business

It may come as a surprise, but there are many similarities between competitors in the Ironman and successful people in the business community.  Our speaker, Iris Mack Dayoub, Ph.D., President of Alpha Financial Management, a successful financial planning business is training for her first Ironman competition.  She will pursue these similarities and share training techniques that can be used in tests of endurance as well as in the business world.

About the Facilitator

Iris Mack Dayoub, Ph.D. has been involved in the financial services industry since 1984.  She has a wide background of educational and business experience with a master's degree in mathematics, a doctorate in mathematics education and many post-graduate courses in financial strategies and economics.  She was the founder and president of a feel only financial planning firm, Dayoub Financial Designs, which merged with Skidaway Financial Planning in January of 2001.  The new company, Alpha Financial Management, specializes in comprehensive financial planning and investment management. Dr. Dayoub was presented with the New and Emerging Small Business of the Year Award from the Small Business Chamber of Savannah in 1997.  Iris is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.  She has served on the board for the South Region NAPFA.  She is also a member of the Institute of Certified Investment Management Consultants.
