XPW PPV on August 7th
XPW’s first Pay-Per-View will take place on Thursday August 7th and will air on DirecTV and In-Demand. In-Demand has began airing commercials on their PPV channel which last a few minutes showing footage from past XPW events including Vic Grimes’ bump at XPW Freefall and the exploding ring match. Footage of the ‘Queen of Xtreme’ Lizzy Borden is also shown.
The PPV had already been postponed several times before but looks like it will go ahead this time. This could be good for XPW as it looks to return to action. The current plan is for XPW wrestlers to publicise the PPV through July.
The PPV is the Best of XPW. It will tell the story of Xtreme Pro Wrestling from the start until the last show, likely featuring action from the Battle of the Burgh show on March 8th, which was billed as a PPV taping. At the start of the show, XPW announcer Kris Kloss had the fans doing a PPV chant that will likely open the show.
