1 large angel food cake 2 env. Knox unflavored gelatin 1 cup crushed pineapple with juice 1 cup sugar 1/2 tbsp. salt 1 tbsp. lemon juice 3 evn. Dream Whip 4 tbsp.cold water Melt gelatin in cold water. Add 1 cup boiling water,pineapple with juice.salt and lemon juice. Mix well, Put in refrigerator until partially set. Tear cake into bite size pieces. Beat 2 env. of Dream Whip and mix into jelld mixture. Line colander with foil. Starting with the cake, alternate layers in colander with cake and jelled mixture. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Turn onto plate and frost with remaining Dream Whip. Keep Refrigerated. |
