Powers and Abilities: Ben has what he refers to as anti-gravitational capabilites and enhanced physio-muscular distribution. He likes to use big words because he is so tiny. In Lamen's terms, he can fly, and for his size he has slightly enhanced strength. He is also exceedingly educated, but this is more due to his lack of anything else to spend his time with other than studying and building things.
Background: Ben was born to a very wealthy family in Indiana. He was born the size of a jelly bean. His parents are also mutants that have done very well hiding that fact, so they took very good care of their special son. He was tutored by only the best teachers, including Professor Charles Xavier.
As Ben grew up, (not much, but yes, he did grow) it became clear that he had a knack for mechanics and building things. Since he was always eye to eye with the very components of the machinary, he could locate and fix a problem easily. Besides his small stature, the mutant genes allowing flight and strength appeared. He only weighs around seven ounces, but can lift up to ten pounds if necessary.
Thanks to his rich, generous parents, and connections through Xavier and other benefactors, Ben's wish came true. For his 21st birthday, he was given a lab for testing and manipulating Adamantium. With his new supplies, he forged many specialized suits for himself out of the indestructable metal. He made a bug-like helmet that he always wears, and then nicknamed himself 'Skeeto.' His favorite armor includes arm gauntlets that are inch long needles which he fills with whatever poison that he feels will suit his next mission.
Ben has worked with various teams set forth by Xavier, but now works diligently for Team Astral X.
